MiniFiend UK
I like the NFJ/Steve Rogers and the the agents and the peg on Steve Rogers hand prob means a Holo Shield. The Zemo's look good in the flesh. Spidey is ok I find the Nova Now a bit dull. Sauron and Shanna look great. The TRU stuff. Cap and Wolvie meh getting a bit burned out on these now. Hulk is ok dont know much about his new stuff. Scarlet Witch looks great and nice shiny colours. I dont recognise the IM armour but again got loads of IM now so its nice but doesn't scream out at me. The two X men look good and its good to fill out teams. Thats 3 sets of 2 and one left over...Is there a figure from another wave to fill out the packs? bigvis497
TRU wave appears to include Cap, Wolverine, Scarlet Witch, Hulk, Iron Man http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/gallery2/album/TF2013-Diamond-Select-Toys/1360553301-73.php Phoenix Colossus and Emma also What's the floaty robot head thing behind Hulk? The floating thing is ROB (Recording Observation Bot) Pretty bummed there's no new characters here, I'm probably gonna skip on these. Hopefully there's some cool new accessories for those who want these.
youbastards
So I'm going to guess that the shared 'mate with TRU 16 is either a.) Spider-Man, cuz its Spidey B.) Nick Fury, Jr. - The way the display is setup kinda looks like he could be paired with Wolverine from TRU 16 and the rest of Wave 51 at the same time. hellpop
sometimes i wonder why it is that we get characters like Scarlet Witch where it's been a few years since the first one came out... and then we basically get 2 in a row. i was going to buy the TRU AvsX set with SW, Cyke and Protector... but i don't need THREE Scarlett Witch's... so now i'll just be getting this new one as the one from the TRU box set is so similar to the original. if they'd spaced it out longer, i woulda ended up getting both. I generally agree with you on this point in principle, but not in this case. Other then the hex hands and the hairpiece, the two Wandas don't really look that similar. You can make the same case for Nova, but again, those are two very different figures (two different characters even). I really like that new Iron Man, and I think Nova (the Marvel Now one) is surprisingly sharp. Is that what Cap's wearing now? Can't say I like it. Sauron and Shana look really great, though. Biggest disappointment? That Steve Rogers head with NFJ might be the worst Steve Rogers head and hair combo we've ever gotten. Fortunately, I've got a bucket full of other options. Valo487
Also, i hope we eventually see Phoenix Namor and Phoenix Magik... if i don't get all 5 i'm not sure i'll want any of them. I wouldn't mind if they made the last two Phoenix 5 members, but if they do we need a non-Phoenix Majik. I don't want them to get in the habit of making storyline exclusive versions then never making the normal one, like what happened with Sin and Grey Gargoyle. monkeycrumb
The TRU wave shows only 7 figures, who's the 8th?
TM2 Dinobot
A shared version with 51 maybe?
undeadpool
the shared figure is probably Shanna and she probably comes with Wolverine

Lobsterman
I wonder if the fact that they've pretty much blown through all of the big names between wave 51 and TRU wave 16 (Cap, IM, Hulk, Spidey, Wolvie) means this is all they're planning to do with NOW looks. I would have loved to see Hawkeye, Captain Marvel, Havok, Rogue, Doc Strange, Rocket Raccoon, etc, but I'm not sure if there are any other big anchor characters to carry a second NOW wave. Thor and Cyclops, I guess? Maybe they'll trickle out in TRU waves in 2014?
The Vox
Who can teach me a bit about that Black and Yellow Iron Man armor? I keep thinking of Mainframe.. but then it looks like it comes with a Tony Stark head. I thought Mainframe was an android. (Miry.. I'm looking in your direction....) I keep thinking of Mainframe.. but then it looks like it comes with a Tony Stark head. I thought Mainframe was an android. (Miry.. I'm looking in your direction....) It's basically an updated version of the modular armor. The Extremis armor was good at everything, the logic behind this suit is that if Tony needs an armor that's really, really strong he uses this armor. All power would be focused on strength and not flight speed, stealth, etc. Basically he plans his missions ahead for what type of additions to the modular armor he will need. Hopefully we get some cool attachments with this.

I think, if Marvel NOW! is indeed here to stay, there will be plenty of figures and updated costumes sprinkled through upcoming waves. Though it's anyone's guess if Marvel NOW! is here to stay.... UK Collector
What's the floaty robot head thing behind Hulk? The floating thing is ROB (Recording Observation Bot) Thanks BV! I'm still none the wiser though, as haven't picked up any NOW! stuff. Wondered if it was a HERBIE redesign or something. At least an accessory of this type opens up the possibility of a HERBIE down the line.

I remember, I just figured her costume would have changed since her New Mutants days, but a quick Google search reveals that she really hasn't changed that much over the years. I stand corrected. About Magik anyway.
Nessex
she has had a few costume changes over the years, but her last costume was issued when the New Mutants reformed, and so they were in the flavour of their original suits. Her current look is pretty different though. It's hard to make out from the preview covers of the UXM relaunch, but it seems to have kept some of the spikes from her PF5 look & gone with the trademark Bachalo exposed belly/sternum area. youbastards
We at least need a Darkchilde version of Magik, they've already made the Soulsword mold so it seems a waste not to use it more than once.
Turtle
I like the modern New Mutants x costume. It's a pretty small variation on the classic costume but pretty cool.
Mnemosis
I think Zach or chuck said that Spidey, shana and nova are not the shared character. I'll go with Sauron. Sauron makes the most sense, since you can sort of troop build pterodactyl mutates.
Mirymate
bigvis covered it pretty well, Vox. Stark came up with this one when he was "not" being Iron Man, after the whole "got caught drinking and armoring" during FI. Tony had to publicly remove himself from his company, and remove all the IM tech from his body. (Again, this is why revealing his ID to the public was a bad idea, but I digress.) Rhodey wore it first, which makes it unique among new armor designs. As for R.O.B.... you don't think Ms. Hill is going to let a SHIELD backed Hulk roam around unescorted?
