MisterMiracle
Can we get some Foot with bows and arrows this time around? I'm pretty sure those were on the Nick cartoon recently.
Gregio
Hey Zach, I forgot to ask you during the Toy Fair. How the TMNT license works with the comics Turtles? You´ll launch the 'Mirage' Boxset but the IDW versions make part of the deal? The Turtles themselves doesn´t change so much in terms of visual but there´s a lot of interesting designs in the IDW comics that would be very cool in minimates form! Like Alopex, General Kraang, Foot Clan Leo and a lot of cool mutants!
TENIME_art
*crosses fingers for Mighty Mutanimals Minimates*
DSTZach
I believe our license does not include any IDW designs. Mirage comics only.
karamazov80
Might we get Mirage style Shredder, Splinter, Casey Jones, and Foot Soldiers?
DSTZach
You can Ask DST, but I have not heard anything.
Mysterious Stranger
No IDW designs?
Josh2382
Is there a chance still for movie mates and/or 80s turtles?..
MisterMiracle
I'm a HUGE turtles fan but I'd be ok with no IDW or Movies stuff. However, I think at least one wave of 80's figures would be cool: * Leo & Donnie * Mikey & Raph * Shredder & Splinter * April & Foot Soldier Or just a 4-pack of 4 turtles with the bright colors. Josh2382
I think a box set is a must! I truly hope for a wave, though, with classic mousers. Bebop and Rocksteady can be placed with them, too!
Minimate-Maniac
I'd be down with an army dump composed of 80s shredder and minions.
MisterMiracle
Well if we're throwing in Bebop and Rocksteady then Casey Jones and Kraang have to go in. So I would be happy with 1 4-pack and 1 wave (12 figures total).
Josh2382
Kraang needs his big, goofy man suit. That could work so well with a chest block underneath the bigger pieces with Kraang or something.
Gmonkey2k
i think if you shave a bit of Arnim, (no not you, the figure) he would work for kranng.
TENIME_art
I believe our license does not include any IDW designs. Mirage comics only. What about Archie?
DSTZach
I think most of the main designs were the same as the cartoon. Not sure about wrestling outfits. Or Cowlick.
karamazov80
When you say you have a license with "Mirage," do you just mean the old comics, or also the old cartoons, which were produced in part by "Mirage Studios?"
TENIME_art
Zach read TMNT Adventures. We are now best friends.
DSTZach
We don't have a license with Mirage, we have a license with Nick, who owns the old Mirage comic designs, the original cartoon and the new cartoon (all of which appeared in one episode of the new cartoon). I am not sure what limitations we have within that, if any.

karamazov80
Yeah, original cartoon is where it's at! I hope DST gets around to some explicit designs from that show. If you want to really hit the nostalgia button for collectors, that's the place to go IMO. Though having said that, I'm not sure how different the actual turtles will look from figures already out there considering limitations in the Minimate sculpt options (though ideally their shells and heads would have new sculpts to account for the more rounded designs of the original cartoon), but Shredder, April, Krang, Casey Jones, Rat King, Baxter Stockman, Bebop and Rocksteady, Footsoldiers, Splinter, and other, lesser characters had pretty distinctive designs there. buttheadsmate
Did the Turtles sell well at the B&M TRUs ? I only ask because the inventory at TRU.com continues to stagnate
youbastards
Yeah, I would say they sold quite well. I saw only a single Raph/April pack when I went searching for Wave 19, none of the other packs have been on pegs around here for several months. MisterPL
I never saw them at my TRU. I don't think they stocked them. They must think they're a UK store.
