Another great wave! I also like how the classic and 90s comics are getting attention in the last waves! I really liked the Marvel Now Magneto but it makes me wish the other 3 Uncanny X-Men members. I had liked more if they came as a boxset (maybe there´s still hope with a White Magneto in it).

In the past, the Minimates Menagerie was a good option, before I met Luke´ Store. I bought a hundred times with the Menagerie, half of my collection I got with him but I think that has been about 2 years I never got anything with here. His prices got insanelly high! Luke is always the first option now. For older mates, generally I look for ebay lots and split the figures with some friends, but Menagerie never again.

Hahahahahahahahaha It's just to show that, If it's hard to you guys, imagine to us! But this make each figure become more "special" too.

When I see people complaining here that they don´t find stuff from their TRU around the corner I feel like Ygritte from GoT: I´m from Brazil. The TRU web store don´t ship outside North America. It´s a blessing for us when Luke gets TRU Exclusives!!! Besides that, it´s only Ebay searchings exhaustively. For example the Kraang robot from Kmart series. We only found on Ebay for US$ 90 a couple months ago! Luckly, Luke received a few ones in the beginning of July. We happily paid $15.99 for each one. It´s a figure that we here never tough we could get anymore. But we keep going on never complaining, we "work with what we can" here.

Who never dreamed with a Butt-Launcher Alien Queen???

The prototype showed during the NYTF had the controls attached to the powerloader arms. I think that's is just a mistake during this photo shooting, maybe someone didn't pay much attention on assembling. I really thinknthe final product wil, have this fixed.

I would love to see some Kenner homages too and maybe a few predators from comica, even if jsutba repaint like the Neca's Dark Horse 25th Edition, with the blue deco.

No. No. No. No. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.No. That would mean DST has hit the limit of their capabilities, but with amaterasu, modok, and the queen alien all getting epic mates, I just don't buy it. Zola, seeing your post made me dreaming that the Gozilla line could got a "deluxe" figure like the Aliens will have their Queen. That's the only way I figure a Guidorah release. But I don't know if the line will be long enough to get this kind of plan.

That one actually are the display stand from two of Matrix action figures, by McFarlane Toys. But usually I use depron, that is a harder foam. Easy to cut and rigid enough to support a relative weight. I'll put some pics from my collection (and the dioramas) in the Pictures Thread.

Even old, this Apocalypse is still great! I had other plans for him and Sinister, I made a diorama barely based in the X-Cutioner' Song saga but used the dio for my Aliens figures! And these X-Men deserved more epic foes around them

My case arrived last friday. Even with some paiting flaws I loved this series! The good poart is taht with a lot of extras, you can choose the parts with best paiting. I started to read comics regularlly a few issues before this team been assembled so I followed their entire arc and beyond but this team became my favorite! Whem DST showed this series I got crazy! It was the first time I made an preorder (beeing from outside US, it´s hard to make preorders, you always need to wait a few items get in stock and made a bigger order, to optimize the shipping costs) and I can´t be happier! The wait worth it! And made a quick dio for them too

I really like the comics much more. First of all, the TV Show rights are with the McFarlane, Zach talked about that a couple years ago. This isn´t an option. And I think that the comics have a lot of good characters to offer. But since the line have a chronological advance I don´t if Diamond have interesting in turning back to fill the blanks. They could´ve just prolong this "advance" a little, with more waves for each story arc now I donpt know if that´s an option. The "New Begnning" didn´t get my attention but there´s a lot of old (and not so old) characters that I would like to see in the line: Jim from Atlanta Camp Axel from Prison Zombie Penny Dale without a leg (like the Black Panther from Marvel Zombies maybe) Eugene with mullets Aaron Heath Denise Earl the blacksmith from Hilltop (just beacuse he could be a cool loking figure, with an apron and some tools)

From @Millstoygalore? I bought a lot of figures with him once. It was the only purchase I made that took 3 months to arrive. His prices for old figures at least worth it.

Maestro is great! A lot of extra stuff with the classic look! Sadly, I didn't get one!

It's always cool find more minimates collectors from Brazil! We have a group on Facebook and we regularlly made group shopping from Luke's. It's the best way to share the shiping costs and get better prices buying cases. I got a case for me when Luke opened the preorder. I was so excited with this series That I wanted to make sure I could get them! Now I can't wait to receive them!

I confess I never customized a figure! But the mates line is perfect for that with all the extra parts.But if I decide to make some customs I think I would start with XMen DOFP comics. The green jumpsuit from Kitty with a storm head and aunt may hair, a colossus with the green pants and maybe some other quick customs for Magneto and Franklin Richards!

A late welcome too, Jason! I started to collect during the great times from Toy Biz Era! After a lot of disappointment, the minimates get my heart too! Sometimes the mates remembers me the Toy Biz line when we had a lot of Wolverine figures but a ton of misc characters too! Tjings you don't see anymore in other modern toylines. What got me for sure in this line was the X-Men Outback team and opened the doors to a lot of other completed teams like New Mutants, classic X-Force, a good option of Age of Apocalypse figures and a lot more!

I confess I create a login at first just to see some of Zach's posts and "backstage" news from DST! It's a little hard to enter in a community of another country where everyone knows each other but I'm trying now to make part of the group!

Hello guys! I'm here in the community for about 1 year but never introduced myself properly! My name is Guilherme Gregio, 30 years old from Brazil. I collect minimates since it started more than a decade ago but never got it as my main collection and had only a few figures. I already had Marvel Legends, Universe and Select but after the usual problems in the Hasbro lines (dwlays, lack of complete teams, cut in articulaction) I started to look more for the minimates lines. My focus is in the Marvel franchise (comics only), TWD, Alien, TMNT and now Predators! I'm reaching almost 300 figures now and counting! Get minimates here in Brazil are really hard, we don't have them in the stores so we have to count with Luke' store (and he alwys helps!) and Ebay. The shipping is high, the customs fee too but, in the end, it worths! After addict a few friends with the minimae fever, we usually make group buyings to share the costs. I like to make dioramas for my figures too. I'll start to out some pics here and interact more in the topics! Thank you!

Man, Hasbro exclusives is always a pain in the ass! I went to the SDCC in 2011 and 2012 (for someone from Brazil, it´s not easy to go every year) and I remember to wake up 5 or 6 am to get in the Hasbro line to get a voucher saying what time I could enter in the real line for the exclusives, just to get one or another sold out in the first hour of the con. DST was always one the easier companies to get the exclusives. And know that the items can be purchased in some stores after the con is perfect, specially for us, outside US.

I love this kind of "feature" that only this kind of line can bring to us. The symbiote piece is really cool! I like all the "transformation" hulks too. Other of my favorites are the Red Skull from series 25 and Baron Strucker, both with alternate comic-accurate looks.
