minimadman
Well I still need to seal it but other than that I'm done. It came out as best it could given my limited skills. I present Robin Hood. While it is not great I am sad to see the little bugger go. I will probably end up buying back on eBay which is kind of funny to me. Here in complete garb. Here with "hood down" Here with hood off. and just the hood. Fuji if you will PM your address I will get it in the mail asap.
Bob Harris
Very nice! I like that you made one of those more modern interpretations of him and not the usual green stockings outfit with the feather hat. Really like that!
minimadman
Yeah doing the other would have been just adding subtle differences to a Green Arrow minimate.
NorthRaider
Coolness I'm real amused by your choice of face for your custom... it just occurred to me how surreal it be to actually see a Robin Hood remake starring Downey Jr.
Fujis
Awesome Robin Hood! And yes, RDJ would make a perfect Robin Hood...well, better than Costner anyway! I just picked up Mattallica and jcastick's customs from the post office and I got Luke's last week. So we're waiting on me finishing Sherlock Holmes and who else has yet to complete and/or mail their custom? At this point I think it best to wait until after SDCC to list these guys on eBay. Thoughts?
Lobsterman
Here's my entry... scourge of the seven seas, it's... Fujis, I can't find your address... can you PM me and I'll get this guy in the mail.
Punisher
Haha, Sinbad's great, any chance we could get some more pics? So we're waiting on me finishing Sherlock Holmes and who else has yet to complete and/or mail their custom? I believe me and robomate are the only two not finished. Sorry Fujis, I just cannot get this guy right Just let me know when you need him by.

Bob Harris
Great work on Sinbad* Lobsterman! I especially like the details on his vest! _____ *: funny thing is, in German he's called Sindbad. I don't know why there's a "d" in it. Or otherwise, why you leave it out. Edit: Just looked it up. Nothing that mysterious after all. Edited June 30, 2009 by Bob Harris
MINI_MYTE
Great Sinbad Lobsterman! What was the recipie?
Lobsterman
Thanks for the kind words, everyone. Starting from the top, the recipe is thus: Turban – sculpted Head – painted, with custom face decal Cape – repainted Shazam cape Vest – partial sculpt and repaint of Kim Bauer (24) jacket Chest – straight reuse of Blade's chest Arms – painted Bracelets – repainted Ocean Master bracelets (I think...) Sash – partial sculpt and repaint of Jewel sash Legs – straight reuse of Emma Frost legs Boots – repainted Red Tornado boots Dagger – can't remember. I think it was an LOTR accessory? Sword – heat-resculpted and repainted Gandalf sword (I was going to scratch-build a scimitar, but I got lazy... ) Edited July 1, 2009 by Lobsterman
minimadman
Thanks for the kind words. I choose the RDJ face because he has the Van Dyke that I think signifies robin hood.
Punisher
Odysseus: He comes with sword, shield, removable spear, Syrin head, and the East (or was it Wast?) wind. There's also another figure, and it's Odysseus from the climax of the story where he was disguised as a beggar to string his bow in the competition with the suitors. THIS IS ITHACA!!!!!!!!! Bob Harris
Finally, BHM! Great work on that Zorro! What is this bandana thingy made of he wears? And Punisher, that Odysseus makes one thing crystal frackin' clear: that ain't Sparta, baby! Very well done, man!
buttheadsmate
Haha, that's awesome BHM. Electrical tape for the bandanna? The secret's out ....there's no fooling the experts
NorthRaider
Loving all the new customs! These auctions should be fun to watch. Glad BHM's safe and sound in one piece after finishing his custom too... or am I assuming too much?
Mattallica
Good stuff BHM!
buttheadsmate
Glad BHM's safe and sound in one piece after finishing his custom too... or am I assuming too much? The mild electric shock I experienced removing the insulating electrical tape from the previously-repaired TV was actually quite stimulating
jjwspider
That Zorro is fantastic! Nice job BHM!
