We are re-soliciting the MMPR VInimates 2-pack to gather more orders, maybe as soon as next month. I do not THINK the price is changing, but it may. If you need to, place a new order with your retailer of choice; if you did not pre-order, I recommend you do so, as it may be the difference between production and shelving.

You won't need to place a new order through our store if you already have one. We will make additional preorders available once it is resolicited. Fingers crossed that they get enough support from comic shops to get made!

Would you recommend we do that through BBTS? or direct from DST?

I was wondering about the vinimates. Was gonna wait for them to hit the LCS so as not to have to endure his "shaming" for not buying local but if preorder is only way to be sure these are made then "shamed" I shall be.

 

How is the rest of the stuff holding up? We definitely still getting series 2 of the TV team?

I always recommend Luke. Sounds like he sold out of the order quantity he placed, so it's up to him whether he wants to continue to accept orders. If made, I do not anticipate a shortage, if that is a concern.

Any hints for the next wave? Is this line even doing well enough for more? I'm very concerned about this re-soliciting, and wonder if this affects the line in anyway. Power Rangers is a property I've wanted for so long and it would be a shame if we never got any villains for them or any of the other ranger teams. With that being I have pre ordered this 2 pack.

This line has made me passionate about Minimates again, having sold off the majority of my collection over the last few years.

I was a really big Power Rangers fan as a kid, and the Boom Studios comic had brought it all back.

I've been buying up loads of the box sets and other spare loose parts to make the villains and Boom characters, just in case DST don't get around to them.

Here's a few photos of a Zordon I threw together, with modified Green Ranger (helmet painted) and Alpha (short limbs). Eventually I think I'll add a LED light to the base.

Dr Manhattan Vinimate head (trimmed at the ball-point), Minimate flight stand, a milk bottle cap, part of a plastic pepper grinder, and an acrylic tube!

 

MiniMilner - I'm in the UK and haven't successfully found them anywhere; I've bought all mine from Luke.

Luke seems to be sold out of Series 1, I have checked Amazon UK though and found them on there but they are temporarily out of stock but allows you to back order them so tried that. Hopefully they get more stock in soon.

Those are awesome. Could you share your recipe? I hope this line is continuing, we haven't heard anything about future box sets and it looks like the vinimate zords are having trouble with preorders. Any info on this line @DSTZach

Bulk's torso looks to be similar to the Fred Dukes from the Wolverine Origins line nut yes on recipe if possible since you can't have an Angel Grove display without these guys.

Neo-Classic Iron Man hair (wave 36)

Gotham Penguin face

Bandana from a few of the Walking Dead figures, with the neckerchief bit cut off and painted.

Standard jacket piece

Waste and legs from Ron Johner (Aliens wave 4)

 

Bulk

Same hair as Shocker (wave 24), but it's darker; been used a few times.

I thought the face was from a T-1000, but it doesn't match any on the Minimate Database.

Torso is indeed from Dukes (wave 26) / Ghostbusters game Chef Demassi, but with the Netflix Jessica Jones leather jacket cut in three parts, glued to the torso. I then sculpted around it to fill in the gaps.
