Kostisfire Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Something from Skybound, perhaps? It's Image related, the deal with Kirkman exists already, but the "license" will be new. Apart from WD and Invincible all his other Image stuff aren't that high profile, so you either like them or you don't. Outcast's his new "top book", so I guess that could work. Quote
Zak Katz Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Cue Kostis' response explaining how the creators of Saga don't want it merchandised... Quote
spidermatt Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Maybe Astro city? Its an image book. More invincible mates would be cool. Hey does dst have a liscence for dark horse stuff? If so im goin out on a limb and sayin buffy the vampire slayer. ? Quote

If so im goin out on a limb and sayin buffy the vampire slayer. If they had Dark Horse license and DIDN'T lead off with Hellboy... No sorry, if it's Dark Horse it's gonna be Red. If I could pick a random small the comic though... I'd love to see either Dr. McNinja or Atomic Robo Minimates. Quote
Prowlar Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Autumn Lands, perhaps? It meets both categories of new property and not new by being very similar to Battle Beasts. Quote
DSTZach Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 (edited) You guys know there is no such thing as a Dark Horse license, right? I mean, there probably is (Barb Wire, Ghost), but they own very few of the characters they publish. Edited September 29, 2015 by DSTZach Quote
fwoosheyman Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 please be Hellboy, please be Hellboy, please, please Quote
MrClean Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I’d say Zenoscope, but the packaging would need black bars across the front at TRU. Quote
karamazov80 Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I'm guessing something akin to the skimpily dressed Indie women we've seen released a few times in Minimate form. Quote
MisterPL Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Since it'll be at TRU, it'll have to be Florida Mom-approved. Quote
DSTZach Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I don;t know for sure if it will be at TRU, or just comic shops, or if they'll get the same thing. More info at NYCC. Quote

MisterPL Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Sidenote: TRU's queer about mature content. They wouldn't sell toys branded with "Hellboy" so the last movie had to use trade dress that used "HB2" as the brand and referred to the title character as "Red." However they had no problem selling the home video as it was. Quote
toy showdown Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Permanent wish list: Anything with Grendel or Madman would be awesome. Also, Freak Force. Thinking broadly, there are over 3500 public domain heroes that are technically from indie titles. But would anything from Golden Age make its money back? Quote
MisterMiracle Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 (edited) I remember seeing Kick-Ass toys at Toys R Us. The only edit that was done was for course for The MF'er. I'm confused as to how Kick-Ass was deemed acceptable but Hellboy was too much. Wait a minute...is Kick-Ass the new license??? Edited October 1, 2015 by MisterMiracle Quote
MisterPL Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Mezco obscured the title. And I'd be just fine with Kick-Ass Minimates! Here's what NECA did for Kick-Ass 2. Quote
TheFlashFlood013 Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 I'm totally down if it's kick-ass that is my number one most wanted license in minimate form Quote
