I love being born on Star Wars day and this year having Free Comic Book Day and Iron Man 3 to take in made it like a mini-comic con that day. I took the car seats out of our van, the Silver Bullet, and loaded it up with geeks and off we went...3 comic shops, a great burger joint and a comic movie made for one heck of birthday, followed by a family celebration for it the next day! There are a couple highlights, one being while I was at the counter paying at my usual comic shop my mom is on the phone with the owner calling in a gift card purchase for me (talk about timing) and then I also got an amazing sketch of me as my fave comic character DC's Jack Knight Starman!
