For the record, I voted whole heartedly for Songbird over Banshee and would do so again. Aside from finishing the long-in-the-tooth Giant Sized X-Men set, I don't have any desire to add him to my collection. Personally, I'd rather have a Siren before I we got a Banshee, but that's my classic X-Force fan talking.

Plus, with Songbird we're that much closer to finishing that awesome Avengers Forever team. We just need a modern Wasp (or, modern 5 years ago...), Clint as Goliath, and (my personal fave) Genis-Vel.

1) I absolutely WEEP at the thought of Nicieza and Liefeld's X-Force being referred to as "classic"

Right? It's weird, but what else would you call the 20 year old original incarnation of an often-changing-format comic? I guess I coulda called it 'vintage', but that seemed even stranger.

If it makes you feel any better, I would also love the NuClassic X-Force team of Mr. Sensitive, U-Go-Girl, and Doop just as much as I want a Siren or Reignfire.

I can not remember if it was already said, but does songbird come with pink wings or something like that.

She will come with a translucent pink flight stand... I think we've seen some control art pics, but no finished product yet.

something like this:

I can't wait to pop a Redskull head on that onslaught mate! If you've read Uncanny Avengers#4 you know what I'm talking about.

Does anyone have ideas for a hair piece for a modern Songbird? I'm thinking the new Akuma with a little modding. Anything closer than that?

Maybe Peter Parker from the Amazing Spidey movie mates. Can anyone confirm that Ghost Rider will be/won't be translucent in the flame area?

I can't wait to see Onslaught in all his 90s goofiness. Nova was my last choice for an army builder next to HAMMER, but I'm digging them now. I see there's two human hair pieces, is one for Richard and one Robbie? Is the blue guy supposed to be anyone in particular? I thought it might be Morrow but the hair doesn't match.

officially, they are all generic centurions. Unofficially...

Could you explain this to me, 'cause I know didly squat about Nova, or his surrounding body of characters.

Nova was created by Marv Wolfman in the '70s and was basically a cross between Spider-Man (unassuming teenager coping with sudden super powers) and Green Lantern (Earthman becomes member of intergalactic space police). His series lasted a few years, before he was depowered and the Nova Corps was wiped out in the pages of... Fantastic Four, I think? Anyway, Fabian Nicieza brought him back in Marvel's blatant New Teen Titans ripoff his very original New Warriors comic, first in a generic ugly brown costume, then in his classic gear. I don't think there was an explanation given as to how his powers returned, but it's been ages since I read that comic, so I could be wrong about that.

Nova bounced around for many years after that before being a major part of Annihilation. The Nova Corps were in full force here, and again, I can't recall if there was an explanation given for how they'd returned. But I digress. Nova really came into his own here, and the work Dan Abnet and Andy Lanning did on the character in the Annihilation books and in his own series is stellar. If you've never read 'em, I strongly recommend them; these days, you can find the trades very cheap.

Really? I haven't seen Nova or GotG trades for a reasonable price anywhere for a long time.

The New Warriors may not have been an original book, but I liked it quite a bit then and think it still holds up pretty well now. They're probably my most-wanted team after the DnA Guardians of the Galaxy.

Zach will the rider have a printed torso? Also what's the articulation on him? Is the leg movement hindered too much or is that armor piece made out of soft plastic? Also, we need more ghost rider mates now that you've made this killer new flame piece!
