Donny B
This is... literally the last license I would have ever expected to be 'mated.AND I LOVE IT

DaveOMac
This is the perfect example of why I love minimates, I would never buy plant vs zombie figures except as minimates. I actually take back my statement after the page fully loaded I saw the regular action figures.... SO COOL!
Onyx_6
This is ridiculous! Very cool, but crazy. Even though I have not ever played Plant vs Zombies, I think I will be picking these up! Are the plants PVC like Snarf? Or do they have articulation and some Minimate parts?
Santos L Halper
Hopefully once these are out, Luke will sell these mates loose(like he does with sets that don't sell well) so I can get a bunch of those football zombies for their helmets. infinte fathom
The cactus or peashooter minimates heads would be next to perfect for a deku link minimate
Donny B
Are the plants PVC like Snarf? Or do they have articulation and some Minimate parts? My guess would be that the plants are more like mates than PVCs. In the games, they're pretty much the same size as most of the zombies, so it wouldn't make sense to scale them down to 'pet' size (but could the plants be considered actual mates? These are certainly among the most creative/unique designs that could still be called Minimates). Plus, I don't think 2 mates and 3 pets could reasonably justify a MSRP of $19.99, but 5 mates can pull it off. And this would be a perfect license for army dumps. Sunflowers and Pea Shooters to go up against my Walking Dead herds
DSTZach
As far as I can tell, some are component-based, and interchangeable, while one per set is Snarf-like. Marigold is a figurine, Pea Shooter and Cactus might have removable heads? Not sure about articulation on them.
JediJohnson
Darn, link blocked at work. Edit: But that Weird Al gif comes through. Saaaayyyy.....can we get a Weird Al 'mate?!?!??! hellpop
Huh. Well, I don't think that qualifies as the "must do" Chuck teased, but cool nonetheless. Football player parts FTW.
ElGallo21
Wow. For obvious reasons I had been at TRU a lot lately and every time I went I picked the PvsZ minifigure boxset but always stopped myself from buying it, looks like there will be no stopping me now. undeadpool
I was wondering when we'd see these Those look fantastic! do you guys plan to do more than the one box set? or is this a one off? (for minimates I mean)
VulcansFury
Huh. Well, I don't think that qualifies as the "must do" Chuck teased, but cool nonetheless. Football player parts FTW. Is this the "must do" license, Zach? And are the figures also by DST?
karamazov80
Most Kubricky Minimates ever? Only BHM knows for sure.
Kostisfire
These are definitely awesome but is there anything else that will be revealed this Sunday? A new licence i mean.
Nervous Rex
Wow. For obvious reasons I had been at TRU a lot lately and every time I went I picked the PvsZ minifigure boxset but always stopped myself from buying it, looks like there will be no stopping me now. lol, I do the same thing. I think they look really cool, but now that there will be minimates, I'm done for... maybe this will get all those cool sculpted parts out that would have been used for maximum zombies. SlushyFrog
I certainly was not expecting PVZ mates, haha. The translation from the cartoon style of the game to Minimates is quite good. I've played the games, but I'm doubtful I'll pick these ups. Though I do hope these can lead to new Minimate fans.
