buttheadsmate
I have ,what is allegedly, a signed copy of West's autobiog 'Back to the Batcave' ........whether or not it is genuine I don't know & I don't care because it ain't going on ebay......... ever. A friend of mine who knows my reverence of him gave me it & that's good enough for me. Famous (?) quote from Robin ............ "Under this garb we're perfectly ordinary Americans" 2010 : Here's me ,still waiting to meet one.
Shanester
BHM, I imagine your signed copy of Back to the Batcave to be genuine. Adam West signed (and still does sign) many copies. Its actually not a bad read either.

minivenom
Well, my new DX Joker showed up today I have a problem. Didn't you already have this figure? And didn't you recently sell off a duplicate, or was that your only copy? You do have a problem, but I can't say much considering that I have two DX Jokers myself. karamazov80
That's the thing. I regretted selling, so I immediately scrambled to find a replacement. That's a real problem, IMO. These are things I should be able to sell at a whim with no regrets.
karamazov80
Some surprising answers to Hot Toys' puzzle from last week: I guess the bent spoon refers to the first guy. Beat It MJ's face looks weird based on these pics. And the Scarecrow/Demon Batman appears to be a 2-pack. I'm glad about Scarecrow, but also disappointed that there was no non-Nolan Batman. The store exclusive thing is a bit worrisome.
Shanester
I want that Demon Batman, but don't really care about Scarecrow... The MJ is more of the same. The other guy is something that I have never seen before.
luke314pi
That Batman 2-pack is amazing! I definitely want both figures.
minivenom
I'm going to have to get the Batman and Scarecrow. Been hoping for Scarecrow for a while. Now we need Commissioner Gordon.
karamazov80
Likeness issues might be a sticking point there, though.
minivenom
Yeah, I've heard about that. Hopefully they can get it worked out. I'd love to have a Gary Oldman Gordon.
NorthRaider
Hot Toys announcement: What the heck is wrong with me?! When I first saw that hint I TOTALLY thought Civilian Bruce Wayne. (Get it? "Born with a silver spoon in his mouth" + "playboy" + "Batman") *facepalm* Would have been cool though if Scarecrow had Cillian Murphy's head underneath that sack. karamazov80
Head looks sculpted. If a Murphy head is included, it will probably be a separate sculpt altogether. Silver spoon comment reminded me of this classic zinger: Edited October 24, 2010 by karamazov80
luke314pi
New pictures and details of the Batman 2-pack here (among other places). The lack of a Murphy head (and accessories in general) is disappointing, but this set is still a must-buy for me.
karamazov80
Detailed pics of MJ (and "Friend" aka guy with weird finger-eye-face) are also available. I hope we can get these in the U.S., though I'm not sure how the Begins figures would work (Sideshow sold the SDCC exclusives, but DC Direct hasn't allowed them to sell HT Dark Knight stuff). luke314pi
If the Batman figures are distributed through Diamond (like the other HT Batman stuff was) then I will be able to order them for anyone here at a nice discount.
karamazov80
Be sure to let us (i.e., me) know, Luke
Shanester
I really like the Demon Batman and I am very surprised HT chose to do it. However, I have just about talked myself out o needing it.
minivenom
Definitely let us know if you can order them, Luke. I got my DX Batman from you way back when (April lol) and you had the best price online.

luke314pi
I haven't tried customizing a 1/6 scale figure before, but I am thinking of adding some texture and details to Demon Batman's lower half. We never see that region in the movie, but I would imagine it would be just as detailed as his face.
karamazov80
You're a brave man, Luke. Damn, I can't wait for this guy. I can easily see him becoming one of my top 1/6 scale figures, just like his Kubrick is one of my favorites.
