karamazov80
I love forward to getting vasquez and making John Conners foster mumWow, I can't believe I never processed that that was the same actress. She was also in Near Dark, with Bill Paxton and Lance Henrikson.

cdubya
Funny film fact that I never knew: When Jeanette Goldstein auditioned for 'Aliens', she thought it was a film about immigration.
youbastards
RIP H.R. Giger http://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/culture/Alien_creator_H.R._Giger_is_dead.html?cid=38569780
MisterPL
What a great legacy to leave behind, at least in terms of pop culture. Giger influenced many artists in the industry. Sad that he left too soon.

Scythe
I think TRU will have some of these, not positive at this point. Cool, thanks! So lookin' forward to it.
Mnemosis
Does Paxton HONESTLY have the healthiest career right now? Crazy!
karamazov80
Paxton is the best actor of the bunch, so that makes sense IMO.
Mnemosis
I guess my point is more that a run on Agents of SHIELD shouldn't be the best job someone can claim to have lol
Turtle
He's also in that new Tom Cruise movie that comes out soon. That's not too shabby.
Valo487
I have never had a lot of affection for Bill Paxton, I feel like in everything I've ever seen him in he's overshadowed by his costars. And his goofy "Game over man!" antics in Aliens are not a positive in my opinion. I have nothing against him personally, but I never really enjoyed his work. Zombie Shakespeare
I liked him in A Simple Plan and Frailty. Both very good movies.
cylonchaney
If nothing else, I will love him forever for his role as Chet! He was also great in Near Dark, Aliens, and True Lies among others.
MisterPL
HBO's Big Love was a different role for him. Paxton's done some diverse stuff on TV and on film. He seems to enjoy his work.
Valo487
I want to stress that I know he's good at what he does, just for whatever reason he's never done much for me. On a different subject, I watched Aliens vs. Predator Requiem today, which I wouldn't recommend to anyone on Earth. But that being said, I wouldn't mind seeing a minimate version of the Predalien, should DST get the rights.
Mnemosis
Valo, what do you have against extraterrestrials? Lol
Valo487
My beef is more with humans in this case. How you can make an Alien vs. Predator film that's rated R and make it boring is astonishing to me.
MisterPL
A film's rating doesn't guarantee quality. I'd sooner see a decent Alien film that's rated PG-13 than one that's crap but a hard R. I've never known a shit film that was enhanced with more cursing and gore.
Valo487
I don't mean that the rating inherently makes it better, but it opens the door for them to be able to do a great deal more to at least get your attention if nothing else, and it didn't even do that. karamazov80
Valo, what do you have against extraterrestrials? LolLOLI've never known a shit film that was enhanced with more cursing and gore.See: the entire library of Eli Roth films.
Zombie Shakespeare
I chose not to see the Robocop remake because it was PG-13 because one thing I liked about the original was the ridiculous violence.
karamazov80
Well that's an odd case, because the satirical nature of the film called for uber violence. My guess is that film would have still been good without the violence, but it would have been a very different kind of film.
buttheadsmate
Whilst I love the Walking Dead ...... hardly anybody curses & whilst most everybody is dead they all manage to stay fully clothed & continent .
