The more common influenza kills thousands more every year :| The only good thing out of this hype is that people are finally paying attention to washing their filthy hands, being careful of what they touch and properly sanitizing things. It's just like the MRSA scare all over again. Influenza affects people differently and people DIE from it, but the idiots crawling around in society don't care, and don't wash their hands after going to the bathroom. With something like Swine Flu, and this is probably going to sound harsh, but they deserve to die. Especially with all the junk they put into their bodies, and drinking alcohol etc. People WILLINGLY compromise their immune systems. CNN isn't helping. All day long it's OMG PANDEMIC, WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE. They didn't even spend a second covering a 747 that caught fire yesterday in Washington. I guess potential plane crash killing hundreds isn't worth CNN's attention =/ But for the people who are clean and wash their hands regularly that die from this are a true tragedy, all because idiots can't cover their mouths and wash their hands. entertheninja!, I sincerely hope that your sister gets out of this.

I bought one of those make up suitcases at Sears and gave the make up to my mom, and it holds everything though I'm getting close to running out of space...

Thankfully I've gotten lucky on most of my purchases and I now have almost every Minimate I want. I don't think collecting is that hard if you know where to look and you're patient, but it also depends on how much you're willing to pay. If you've got a bottomless wallet, then yeah, you can get anything you want very quickly. Thanks to good deals, and the members here on the boards, I haven't had to pay more than $20 for any single mate. The hard part with getting really old waves and variants is just waiting for them to show up. There's always other people competing with you to get it, so it could be months before you get the ones you want at a price that you consider reasonable. Thankfully I've gotten all of the recent variants I wanted at my LCS instead of having to look on eBay. While it sucks that Jim Rhodes is the variant, it's good that Tarantula is the variant for the other wave because people pay $10 at most for the pack. Then again, most of the Minimates that were ever released are available on eBay and Amazon, but at high prices. So the difficulty in obtaining Minimates varies inversely to how much you're willing to pay. And this is just in the United States. I can't imagine how hard it is to get Minimates outside of the country @_@ I think Minimates should be easier to collect. Like, DST should ALWAYS produce older Minimates or improve older ones according to demand. They reuse pieces, so why not rerelease older Minimates?

I think it would have been much better to sell it at Gamestop and have all of the extra stuff as a pre-order bonus, and sell the game for $60.

Let's just hope DST doesn't have a tooling change of heart like they did with the Octopus' boots from the Spirit 4-pack. If you recall the prototype had those wicked awesome (sculpted) pimpin' boots, but the actual minimate ended up with painted ones instead. Let's hope DST doesn't screw her over and go with the bracelets that Ben Reily, Spider-Carnage and Scarlet Spider ended up with. Fingers crossed. Ben Reilly's are sculpted and Scarlet Spider's are painted. But how are you going to take off Ben's web shooters? I can't take mine off :<
