I want to know where how difficult the box set will be to find. You know: TRU - maybe TRU.com - probably LCS - definitely Disney - possibly Borders - Other retailer - who knows

I think it was meant as an additional product offer, not as the item or in place of the item. At least that is what I thought.

So, after spending over an hour last Friday trying all avenues for obtaining the exclusives, one two of the things done actually paid off. First, I cleared out all but a couple packs of wave 14 in an attempt to trigger a reorder. It worked! Yesterday, I found a full case on the pegs The second thing, which I am hopping will work for future waves and other collectors, also paid off. Apparently, one can request a rain check for product at your local TRU. With ~18 packs of 14 on the shelves, one stellar TRU employee put in a rain check for me for 24 (2 cases) packs. When I walked in yesterday, she saw me and told me that my order had come in. She had 2 cases of wave 15 stashed in her work area for me, which had come in to fill the rain check! It was a good birthday! That being said, I have two full sets of wave 15 for sale ($32 + shipping) or trade (looking for wave 48 and others) as full sets only. PM me if interested. Can you possibly post pics of the three versions side by side, Zach? I am curious about the differences. Being a non-Trek fan, traditionally, I am interested in the Minimates, but not necessarily every single one. I want an Enterprise, maybe two, but I want to be an informed customer! Thanks

I voted black. Because black goes with everything. And, with proper lighting an material, black can be about as reflective as a mirror. Man, I need my tax refund check in a bad way.

I got my librarian $10 ticket! And my $62 a night hotel room. I am C2E2 bound, baby! This is my first major con in over a decade. I cannot wait!

That is really amazing. Cannot wait for more! Now, how many unique characters are there? For a definition of unique, lets go with: if someone traveled back in time and removed that person at birth/conception, then any costume/persona/clone, etc would not count. So, Iron Patriot = Noman Osborn = Green Goblin, Ultimate Jean Grey = Jean Grey = Phoenix, etc. Okay, maybe clones count (X-23, Ultimate SpiderWoman, etc)

I asked a few employees about these on Friday. After much searching, calling and other store inventory checking, it appears this wave may have been ordered too small. I bought the entire case the day my TRU got them in. This was not enough to trigger a reorder. There is no longer any stock at the distribution center either. Any chance they would order more of the first wave, Zach?

Yep, almost every character has holes for his weapons. And, I think, all the villain's weapons can be combined at the ends to make longer, staff-like weapons.

So, I bit[/b] negotiated on the auction BHM shared. 20£ shipping, 10£ off. About $105 shipped. What a great deal! I opened the set up last night and am very impressed. The only issue I ran into was that Ripley's foot holes are too small for the pegs on the loader. Not a huge deal, since she is very far from Minimate quality to use in the thing. Right now I have Andrea piloting the power loader, although I had to give her Lori's hair for her to fit in the cockpit. I cannot wait for the official Minimate release of Aliens! @Zach: Does the license include the extended Director's Special Edition version? That could give us Newt's family and that cool vehicle. It would also allow for the Alien/Prometheus Engineer ship. Also, will we possible see the crew from the Nostromo? They are all shown on the screen behind Ripley in her hearing after her ship is found. That should be at least enough to include them, since we got Reese/Flashback Arnold from the T2 license.

Correct me if I am wrong, and the database, I believe, doesn't back me up on this, but doesn't the AIM guy from TRU come with a different colored set of weapons? I feel they were the slightly bluish version, not black like wave 25. Hail Ivan!

Universal Studios used to have a wicked cool BTTF ride with 8-seater DeLoreans, cast member videos, dinosaurs, ice balls, volcanos and more! Unfortunately, I think they have retired the ride.

This.And as far as TRU.com is concerned, I think BHM is correct, the B&M cases/strategy doesn't work. I can't see that online has the same casual/impulse purchase appeal as a B&M store. Especially with TRU, where half the time a simple search does not result in the desired... results. I do not have any idea if it would work, but TRU.com needs at minimum "god" cases, with the 3-3-3-3 break down. Ideally the online break down would be flipped from the B&M cases: 2 each of the shared packs and 4 each if the exclusives. Having two different break downs would still encourage the frequent trips to TRU, but would split the sales online: collectors (and, unfortunately, scalpers) would be able to snag the exclusives to supplement LCS purchases and the "casual" fan would still be able to order a full set. Instead of the case now, where the online exclusives are snapped up immediately and everyone has a hard time finding them. Now, this idea only works if TRU can figure out that they would be receiving two different pack-outs. I could easily see them mixing the cases up and creating all out confusion Kind of like they do now I will say that I have been fortunate with finding this line at B&M stores, and Minimates in general, with the exception of the current Marvel wave. But, I have a hard time picking up more than one extra of each shard pack at TRU, and I need try to obtain at least 5 of each exclusive to help out fellow collectors. I will, if I can find Sentry. I really only get the characters I want, so I could have had Hyperion, but wasn't interested. Which is also why I picked up Angel, but not Wolverine or Cap (none of these 3 are needed for the BAF).I really wish that Hasbro could figure out distribution better, though. How a company can think that, when releasing different assortments of a product, it is okay to call releases W3r1 and W3r2, and not include a single character from wave 3 (W3)! /rant I do so hope Hook shows up online.
