murderofcrows
Welcome to Moc's talentless customs... my first entry is a DC Custom for all you old fella's out there. When I purchased the recent Thor Mate, I did it mostly for the Destroyer and while I appreciate the new costume for the movie, there was something about the helmet that just didnt feel Thor like...but still struck a chord with me....something familiar... then it hit, me with a head swap from Dr. Fate, a bare chest from Namor, and a loin cloth from Gollum a sword and the movie Thor's helmet... may I present The Warlord! Now I know that the boots and loin cloth need to be painted white, and I am fishing that task out to some of you fellas with the talent to do this but thought I would share this with some of the old schoolers here... If anyone has any improvements or ideas, please let me know hope you enjoy, or at a minimum it inspires you talented guys to do something more with this moc874 talentless custom pics reference photos Edited November 10, 2012 by murderofcrows

buttheadsmate
Nice stuff Crowman & I couldn't agree less with your talentless tag. Whilst my jaw drops at most of the custom talent here & the effort that goes into painting, decals & moulding etc. I also know of more than one QC that I have copied & gained immense pleasure from. Great idea!

hellpop
As Bob Harris just pointed out to me, I had the exact same idea for the Warlord.. about ten days after you posted this. Considering my recent feud with Bob over him blatantly stealing customs I made that he could not possibly know exist, I've had to eat a little... um... crow . So I made Warlord too. You can see my version hereor here(plus some other swell things), but I used the same head/helmet combo, with a few changes in accessories. I used Lady Loki's loin cloth, which has a nice belt with it, and FA Doom's boots to round things out. Bob just suggested using one of AoA Magneto's shoulder pads to replicate that skull thing, which I think is a pretty great idea. Love that sword you chose. It's not worth buying a PotC figure, but it's really swell. Nice work!

murderofcrows
What If Cyclops was recruited by Dept. H and became Weapon X? This talentless custom, is non other than Scott Summers from an alternate reality...one where instead of being a steadfast leader of the X Men, Scott Summers was recruited by Dept. H to become Xyclops...the Weapon X. In order to keep their weapon "under control" Scott was fitted with a special psyonic helmet, that controls his mind, and help to focus his already distructive optic blasts to pint point deadly accuracy. thanks for looking moc847

murderofcrows
Minor modification to my Xyclops Custom. I thought that the helmet off set the figure (ie: top heavy) so I added some shoulder pads to even out the uniform / costume. Thoughts? too Judge Dredd? moc847 Edited August 5, 2011 by murderofcrows
