youbastards Posted September 22, 2010 Share Posted September 22, 2010 (edited) I've spent the last 20 minutes trying to find why you can't locate these when searching for them, and the only thing I've found is that they list the mfg. as "Diamond" instead of "Diamond Select Toys" as all other Minimates are listed. The OOS Universal Creatures 'mates are also listed as "Diamond", but then again they are also in the "Action Figures > Military Figures" category. Updated! At the time of this posting, there are 121 x Namor/Atlantean Soldier 281 x Torch/Thing 280 x Reed/Doom 116 x Sue/MoleMan Wow, maybe TRU/DST have finally worked out the distribution issues to the website. I'd love to know how this stuff works with them and what they order. It's a new item number, right? So technically, it's viewed as a new item and nothing with previous stock associated with it? I'm no expert but that's how I saw it. The old item number was flooded with older stock so I assume they only ordered a small amount. It certainly beats hoping my store might deem them worthy of touching their shelves/pegs on some far off day. Should they show up locally, I'll still buy some, to pay tribute to management who took pity on this collector, but at least now I'm set either way. I went ahead and took the online route, and was able to get the free shipping, which made the deal even sweeter, not having to stress about in-store availability and driving around.
