s.p.d.
Generation X ! That would rock!!! Chamber (wow!) Mondo (maybe in mid - transition form to another material) Penance Skin Now thats a cool set, although mass market appeal at this stage of the game, probably not! karamazov80
Man, I used to collect Generation X. Haven't even thought about that comic in years. I really don't see that one happening as a box set with any chance of selling
hellpop
My personal choice goes for the Squadron Supreme: Hyperion, Spectrum, Nighthawk, and the Whizzer (or perhaps Power Princess). In my mind, it's the perfect exclusive, because they are distinctive characters but ones unlikely to show up in the regular line. I also think this would be a good idea for an e-tailer to try out as an exclusive, because if it's successful, you can release a follow up set and become the "exclusive" home for Squadron Supreme Minimates! TM2 Dinobot
Made a thread for you over there Scott. http://www.minimatemultiverse.com/index.php?showtopic=7924 Thanks a lot. I really appreciate it. I signed up over there so I can post in the thread but until a moderator looks at my account and authorizes me I can only read, not post. Also, I am looking into what it costs to advertise over there too. Hopefully my email request for rates will get answered next week. I figured if I'm getting behind Minimates then I'm going to do it right and support the fan site that supports the product. Quick like a bunny! gambitron
I would love a mix of missing X-men and Brotherhood Jubilee Banshee Pyro Toad As I got my 90s X-men this week and set them all up together as a team I found myself really wanting more X-men bad guys. funkguerilla
New Defenders - Hellcat - Gargoyle - Moondragon - Nighthawk Is it bad that I saw this and instantly thought to myself: Those aren't the New Defenders. But then I thought of who else was on the team and realized that would be a much better line up than Cloud, Angel (Again!), Beast (Again!), Iceman (Again!), or Candy Southern. Oh New Defenders, you're so lame, I can't help to love you. Also: i'm probably the only one but i'd really like a slingers boxset hornet dusk prodigy ricichet You are most certainly not the only one who's a slinger's fan. It's a sweet series that never got the respect it desreved, and I would totally buy that boxset.
Dio
Street Fighter II: Felicia Ken Zangief Blanka Prototypes exist and Super Street Fighter IV is coming out soon. I wouldn't mind seeing Sagat either. EDIT: Never mind, didn't see the word MARVEL. Edited March 24, 2010 by Dio

dr baghead
Street Fighter II: Felicia Ken Zangief Blanka you know, replace Blanka with Guile or better yet Dan and you could pretend it was an "MvC2" set (Blanka of course was never playable in any Marvel Vs games, nor was Talbain the other SF 2 wave 2 character missing from your suggestion, but Guile made his triumphant return to 2D in MvC2 where as Dan is just badass) making it make perfect sense under the Marvel banner... man, I just realized for as popular as Street Fighter is it sure is a doomed action figure lincense. Resaurus went under, Palisades had the line for like a month never released anything and then went under, the minimates failed, SOTA did will changed management then tanked the line, and NECA seems to have given up already... whatever company is looking at rights for Super SF 4 better just walk away now or they're gonna end up either breaking hearts or going under. ...on topic however I'm going to say Wrecking Crew! I know nothing of them, but they look neat (and if I'm not mistaken the only new sculpting you'd need is a prybar and Bulldozer's leg bands and maybe torso/helment if you're not willing to take the big chest/sliponmask deco route making it a cool looking set that's economical!)and I don't want to get beat up for supporting the SF2 set. Binaryan
I'd be really interested in hearing more about the logistics behind this type of exclusive. Did DST request that you come up with set ideas on your own? Did they give any parameters at all? Is the cost greater for a set with lots of newly sculpted items and accessories (Like the Dark Avengers set?) Can you do a less costly set with mostly reused pieces (Like with the Secret Wars set?)?? I think we could all come up with some very cost effective 4-packs using almost entirely reused parts. (Hint, hint)
groundhog7s
I'm just going to throw this out there, but I'd be shocked if AFX doesn't release a Wrecking Crew 4-pack this year. They have several planned and when they asked for input last year there was a huge outcry for them.
blizzerd
Plus there's a huge budget THOR movie coming out next May so we should expect a glut of Thor-related product
groundhog7s
Which is why a comic-related four pack of Thor and the Warriors Three (or whatever they're called) would be timely, yet not cut into movie related figures that'll be planned. kstrong
Hello, I may be new to the boards but here is an idea for a boxset i would like to see and i think would be a very successful seller: Army Builder boxset: could use some of the previously released army builders (such as AIM solider, Hydra Goon, Sentinel, etc) and throw in an exclusive like a sheild agent, or a HAND ninja. You would have people buying multiple sets (or at least i would). also an idea for this would be to maybe have a battle dameged sentinal, or a skrull with different facial expressions, etc. Just my two cents, kstrong

But apparently he can be bribed with cookies and Sake, so there is hope.
gentry
Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the Wrecking Crew primarily associated with Thor? Thus it is likely that they will show up next year when the Thor Movie is released. [similar to the Wave 36. Just a thought. ] I’d go with: Alpha Flight - Guardian - Shaman - Snowbird - Sasquatch Northstar and Aurora would make a killer TRU Exclusive. Sweet Jesus, i would buy EVERY ONE of these sets . . . although i might replace Sunfire with Sabretooth & call it an 'Exiles' set, then make an 2 AOA sets: 1) Rogue, Magneto, Sunfire & X-man. 2) Apocalypse, Jean Grey, Cyclops & Weapon X. you have great taste, TENIME_art! Tad Ghostal
Some 4 pack thoughts... Warriors Three 4 pack (see what I did there?) Inhumans - Medusa, Gorgon, Triton, Karnak Wrecking Crew Defenders completer - Nighthawk, Hellcat, Gargoyle, SOS Red Hulk family (Red She Hulk, Lyra She Hulk, Doc Samson, A-Bomb) Intelligencia (imagine a MODOK minimate?!) - Leader, Red Ghost, Wizard Legion of Monsters - Morbius, Man-Thing, Werewolf, and uh,.... Old School New Mutants Old School Guardians of the Galaxy (see Bowen busts for reference) Alpha Flight - Snowbird, Aurora, Northstar, Sasquatch, Shaman, Marrina, Guardian, Vindicator (two 4-packs, that is) I'm drooling just thinking about these. lemonfreshviper22
How about some Masters of Evil? Masters I: Nathaniel Garret Black Knight Heinrich Zemo Enchantress Executioner Masters II: Crimson Cowl Melter Whirlwind Egghead (not part of this version but that's ok) Parts to make T-bolts Radioactive Man a classic version Masters IV: Helmut Zemo Beetle Screaming Mimi Goliath Masters IV part 2: Moonstone Fixer Blackout Yellowjacket II (Titania with a new Absorbing Man TRU 2-pack) How can you have the MOE without the T-bolts? M.A.C.H. I Songbird Jolt Atlas (With Citizen V and Fixer as a TRU exclusive) Also some Iron Man villains would be appropriate Sunturion the Ghost Classic Iron Monger Unicorn (with a 2-pack of Beetle and Blizzard for TRU; fits both Iron Man and T-bolts!) Plus some Thor ones Destroyer Kurse Cobra Mr. Hyde I also wouldn't mind the Warriors Three or the Wrecking Crew. Pack in Balder with the Three and I think you've really got something (with a Sif and Heimdall TRU 2-pack) While we're at it, why not Cap too? Though I'd like to save some heavy hitters for his own wave... Batroc Dr. Faustus Vermin Viper Annihilation: Starlord Annihilus Drax Quasar War of Kings: Vulcan Gladiator Ronan Crystal (Blastaar and Darkhawk TRU 2-pack) Werewolf by Night could go in that Monsters 4-pack and I really like the idea of finishing off the Inhumans Royal Family and the Defenders. Alpha Flight could be a lot of fun and I definitely interested to see what path they would take with Puck. That and while I'm unfamiliar with the Fall of the Hulks story, the Intelligencia is a great chance to get some otherwise unlikely characters made. Plus Army Builders set = genius Edited April 25, 2010 by lemonfreshviper22
