So many unique sculpts/parts perfect for swapping/playing with. Must be one of those "hatred of the mediocre movie breeds contempt for the Minimates" things I guess. They also made her wings darn near impossible to remove without breaking something...which is exactly what happened with mine. Hot water. No, seriously, try soaking the thing holding the wings in hot water first to soften up the plastic a bit. That should make the wings slightly easier to remove. Logan, Special Ops, Congo, etc . . . seriously? Did we need 7 Logans? Ultimate Bulk - Nessy don't like duck feet. Thunderbolts Venom - To be honest, the face was great - i was just miffed that we didn't get a tail to go with him . . .plus i kinda hate the huge chest blocks. WWII Wolverine - It doens't look bad - but why the hell do we need 2 of him in different shades? Surely we could have gotten a New X-force Warpath as the wave 29 Variant? or Maybe give us movie Kestrel instead? Ultimate Shield Agent - Again, it's not a poorly made mini - it's just kind of a bland army guy. woul have preferred Ultimate Maddrox Honourable mentions: Recoloured Bullseye (FINALLY), Jim Lee Storm, Psylocke, the Sabreteeth & Gambit. There were SO many awesome new characters made. These guys were ones i've been waiting for since the start of the line. For me, Wave 28 was THE Wave of the Year. In their defense: I just wanna put my hand up and say i really liked Ultimate Spiderwoman & Bucky Cap. I think Bucky Cap is a pretty cool design & looks great in Minimate form. Ultimate SpiderWoman Is pretty good too. I like her better than the quad-breasted non-variant! She's got a bold design, big spider eyes. She's not the best MiniMate - but she's far from the worst.
