616commando Posted December 7, 2007 Share Posted December 7, 2007 hey all. Sitting here at work, and it got me to thinking, what does everyone else do to make a living? I'm a temp at bank right now, and it's not all that fun. Eight hours of excell is pretty tedious. What do you do? Too young to have a job? Enjoy it while you can, I wish someone had told me that, back in the day. As side note, what's the worst job you've ever had? I've got two, I worked trash truck at the San Diego Zoo for a year, and let me tell you something: You've never ever ever smelled anything as bad as Tapir feces. I've smelled everythign under the sun(lol), and that was the worst.Believe me on this one. Please, for your own sake. And secondly I worked graveyard shift at gas sation/convienance store for a couple of years, the job was great, could do my own thing, but was robbed at gunpoint. lol That wasn't so fun. Two guys with a shotgun and a revolver come in, make me lie down on my stomach in the back of the store, while robbing the place....and then pepper sprayed me. Cops caught all the guys, so all in all a good ending to the matter, but I thought I was a goner for a minute there. So what your worst job? Long hours? Weird people? Cruddy boss? Chat it up! Dan Posted December 7, 2007 Share Posted December 7, 2007 I'm too young to have a proper job, but I do a paper round on a friday afternoon, which pays okay. I recently became a Royal Navy Reservist, but I haven't begun to get paid for that yet. I have to watch what I buy, and often can't afford half the stuff I want, but hey, I get by, especially with the fantastic help from this board. So, the pay sucks, meaning most of my income comes from my minimate porn site. I'm a gynaecologist so I can recognise a Highassroller when I see one.
