Punisher
Thanks everyone! Update -- August 7th We've gotten a lot of good minimates, and we've gotten a lot of not-so-good minimates. Recently, I've been trying to make those bad ones better. Scarlet Witch I painted over the pink with a skin-tone. Sexy! Nick Fury A simple quick-custom reflecting his current look. Marvel Boy: He ended up with a new face and hair. Loki: I ditched the cape and ponytail. Then I painted his headdress bronze and gave him a LOTR weapon. Iron Fist: I cut off the bulky chest piece and repainted all the green. Iron Spiderman: I sharpied detail, and gave him robot arms from twist-ties Beast: Modified Patch hair, and a repainted chest. Thor: Got rid of the bulky chest, and gave him a new face. Quicksilver: Marvel Boy's head and hair, along with a green repaint. Hydroman: A new head and hair. He's now Hydroman, not Cletus Cassidy. Here's an original creation I made: Something for the Ghostbusters to bust? Now here's the first in the series of 9: A Red Scout from Team Fortress 2. Being my favorite character in the game, it made sense for me to finish him first. Heavy and Spy are next! CAUTION-- BLACKEST NIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD Black Lantern Hawks: It seemed like the right thing to do with an extra 2-pack. Thanks for looking! Comments are welcomed with open arms. Punisher
Thanks for all the kind words everyone! Threw this together in about less than a minute: Green Lantern Arisa (not sure what's up with her side, as there's no paint missing in person...) Swordsman: The helmet comes from a BSG pilot, the sword and sheath are modified from LOTR parts. Songbird: The chest piece is a modified New X-men jacket. The belt is a modified endoskeleton crotch piece. And that's it
Bob Harris
Oh man, you always come up with a whole truckload of new customs and it's hard to comment on all of them. However, well done once more, Punisher. I really like the way Iron Fist turns out. I don't own one myself, but I like the way you slenderized (?) him. It captures his martial-arty look pretty good. And I really like your new Fury. I love his new appereance and you come up with a pretty cool qc adaption of his new style. (That new Sabertooth coat is perfect, isn't it?) Iron Spider, well, maybe I'm wrong, but doesn't he only have three of these iron tentacle arm thingies? Swordsman and Songbrid are cool. While Songbird really captures her appereance I think Swordsman's helmet looks a little too motorcycle-helmet-ish. Maybe a modified Nova helmet - although I know that you don't have a spre one - would work pretty well.
Punisher
Here's another truck full Bob! (BTW, thanks for the praise!) First up is a frost Giant: Then I've got a MvC 2 Ironman: Silver Savage (based off of Bob Harris') And the rest are all commissions: Backlash from Youngbloods (I think ) Speedy: Reptile from the recent MK game Crypt (I think he's from youngblood too...) Kyle Rayner: (I have to make one of these for myself!) Phantomex Invincible, and a new head for Omni-Man: That's all! Let me know how they look... Twisted Two-Face
Lovin that Kyle; sure, i liked his old, non-Hal-Jordan-ish design because of how unique it was, but yours just makes me a want a Kyle, period. Great job.
Bob Harris
Nice Silver Savage, man! Using one of Cap's (?) shield cuff thingys to attach his board to his wrist is a way better idea than my crappy rubberband was. But what I really wanted to say is: I ♥ your sig, but the link is broken. Fix it, man, FIX IT!!!
Punisher
Thanks Bob and TTF! (BTW, my sig link is once again working, and I'm hosting it! ) Ok here's an update, probably the last one for a week or two, I'm heading off to schoolio. Kill Bill's "The Bride" aka Beatrix Kiddo Maya Lopez (v3): Commissioned Ultimates: Giant Man, Wasp, Hawkeye Commissioned Dazzler and The Hood: Batman: Arkham Asylum style Joker thugs: 2.5'' Juggernaut: Commissioned Solomon Grundy: Commissioned Gentleman Ghost: That's all for now!
