Lobsterman
Man, how are they making those cost out with all the accessories? Guessing a $39 price point for the "deluxe" ones?
MisterPL
I'm not a huge fan of Ivan Reis but that Batman is gonna be hard to pass up. And I've been waiting quite a while for a Longbow Hunter Green Arrow. That's going in my collection. Oh, and I'm gonna need that Deadman... ... and another job. youbastards
Man, how are they making those cost out with all the accessories? Guessing a $39 price point for the "deluxe" ones? $25 each per the article.
hellpop
That's about the same amount that the animated Batman figures go for, and they are loaded with accessories. These look really nice. I personally can't see getting into a new 6" DC line, since DCUC is still taking up much of my shelf space, but I'll definitely pick some up to fill out the ranks there. Oh, and by the way: Lex Luthor is in the Justice League?!
stack32
Maybe it's the angle or the posing but something about that Batman seems off.
Mnemosis
I'll reiterate what I said on Facebook... these look GREAT, but... I don't NEED them enough to replace the perfectly serviceable DCUC and DC Direct/Collectibles versions I already have, with a few possible exceptions... namely Batman and MAYBE Harley, when I see her. Now... give me Lex, in a business suit. Give me a smug but benevolent head with an open "handshake" hand and an alternate cackling evil head with alternate green kryptonite ring wearing fist. Give me all of that, icons or animated, and we'll be in business. Bonus points if he's in a two pack with Mercy
SCW
The realistic human faces creep me out. Its like Abercrombie models as DC characters. Odd body structure too. Pass.
karamazov80
Oh, and by the way: Lex Luthor is in the Justice League?!Magneto as a guy who trains young mutants? OK, I can get behind that. But this? Gimme a $*ing break. Screw you, DC.
MisterPL
In my DCU, Lex Luthor was one of the fiscal founders of the Justice League.
TENIME_art
A Wayne/Queen/Lexcorp venture? I can see that...
MisterPL
Yup, but Luthor's share ends up being bought out by Ted Kord.
Nessex
I'd kinda like DC to stick out a line and get everyone done in it. I'm a bit over seeing the same 7 or 8 characters make it out with a few b or c listers before they change to a new line with a new scale & new sculpting style. Here's hoping this line goes the distance.
Mnemosis
I see what you're saying, but... DCUC and DC Direct both did an admirable job of getting us a decent selection. It has just been this Total Justice line that seems to be stalling. And personally, it is my belief/hope that some of these Icons will be able to stand alongside the two earlier lines if the right figures get made
NerdyTrev
Anyone else been picking these up? I've found them really neat figures to fill the DC void in my collection. Still not the best with articulation, but the sculpts are stellar.
MisterPL
I am not buying these but the bigger the line gets, the better it looks. This is what DC Direct should have offered when they first started, something comprehensive and in a single style. Then again I'd be SO out of room by now. Some of the accessories are pretty inspired. I'm wondering when they'll start offering vehicles larger than Batgirl's motorcycle.
Glantern
I've got GL, Flash, Green Arrow, and Mr Miracle (I posted pics of them in this thread, but they were lost during the changeover), and I'm definitely tempted by some of the more recent figures. It's a little hard to keep up with the releases if I'm honest. Definitely keeping an eye out for the Static figure.
stack32
Harley and Joker are both excellent figures; Harley in particular is probably the best figure of her ever made.
