karamazov80
Do I see Shane's avatar making an appearance there? Those were some long-ass commercials. Dig it. Edited July 9, 2014 by karamazov80

Shanester
I always loved the astronaut. Even though the Megos were based on the TV show and not the movie, the astronaut was oddly generic, but I liked it.
hellpop
Funny, I always thought Shane's avatar was a GI Joe.
Roccothegreat
those commercials were soo good & would never fly in todays PC world. "they're gonna make me a slave" lmao
NerdyTrev
Planet of the Apes mini mates is something I've thought of for a while. Ever since my dad introduced me to the film when I was eight, I have always had a strange desire to own my own little Planet of the Apes. Having Roddy McDowell in an form of 'mate is fine by me! i would even appreciate his character from Poseidon Adventure! Anyway, i have tried to come up with waves for the films but think that the Thundercats route would be more except able. Having a box set per movie with a few exclusive two packs here and there. Hope this helps!

MisterPL
APETASTIC! Might I recommend using Sasquatch's forearm extensions? That might help Caeser when he's hunched over. (Hail Ivan!)
Valo487
If these got made, would you guys want the classic Apes looks, or the more modern Motion Capture style?
Glantern
Honestly, I'd want both, but classic might offer a broader selection of figures. Edited July 14, 2014 by Glantern
Shanester
Both. I saw Dawn over the weekend and met my expectations. I'd like any POTA Minimates done well.
MisterPL
Both for me as well. And if they ever find themselves scraping the bottom of the barrel, I might even be interested in designs based on Burton's, but we're talking low priority compared to everything else. Valo487
The movie itself was mediocre, but I thought the Ape designs were good in Burton's.

MisterPL
Rick Baker's apes were the best part of Burton's abomination. Dream come true for this fanboy but the rest… [shudder]
ElGallo21
any POTA minimates would be welcomed on my shelfs.

MisterPL
Could we move this thread to a more appropriate forum? Every time I see it as a current line, my heart breaks just a little bit more. Thanks.
