For me, surprise, cylons in all their shapes and sizes. My favorites are the Razor style ones though the classic was my first minimate ever. Every time Iron Monger catches my attention I just want to pick him up and play with him. He and the Mark I Iron Man that you can de-armour into Tony Stark are among my favorite mates.

Poked around the Broadway store (Vancouver) yesterday and found a bunch of Warthogs but did not see any GB or UM.

Because those parts are "packaging" not build a mate. The previous MAX mates only came with clear parts required to hold spare pieces (arms, boots, jacket pieces, etc.) in a consistent and attractive way while in the package. The fact that they are clear mate parts is just a nice bonus.

That was realy cool! The only thing I noticed is that you could be more careful about putting the camera back in the exact same position between shots. It's a little jumpy in places. Otherwise, really nice work. I hope we see more.

They had no articulation though and were more like minimate statues. PM the author. He might have some advice for you.

Check out the Flea Market section of the board. I don't have one for you but I think there are some on the Want/Have trade thread. There is also a Want/Have buy/sell thread you could look at. Also, some threads where people are selling their collection on ebay and I know there is one in one of those. Good luck. He's awesome and belongs in any collectors collection.

I read another post somewhere where the person was saying something like, "Yay, Zombie Biker. Maybe he comes with a motorcycle that just happens to be on fire!" I like this idea. The doctor could come with an Ambulance that has decals you apply yourself (or replace with a Ghostbusters logo).

When you get around to series 2, a graveyard scene could work for Universal Monsters, Marvel Zombies, Luke sticker zombie customs, Ghostbusters, and possibly The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. I'd buy one. Best of luck with series one. I'll be ordering some shortly.

I always thought it would be cool if the packaging backgrounds could be cut up and assembled into dioramas for posing the mates from that wave or it could be done by including pieces of printed cardboard. I like the idea of it being the actual packaging though. It's also kind of green as less of the packaging would end up in the garbage. I also love the mates that come with parts to do costume or character variations. More of those would be great. e.g. Gul Dukat / Damar from the Star Trek waves, Wasp, Giant Man / Ant Man, etc.

ToysRUs in Vancouver had Playmobil stuff on sale this weekend and I decided to pick up some horses for my Western mates. I'm super happy with how they fit!

Horrible colour matching aside, I love my Wave 37 Thing. I swapped shorts with the TRU Thing so he could have a nice 4 logo on his belt.
