  1. I'd kill for a Tom Waits Minimate (or action figure), and I'm sure my wife would love a few different versions of Lady Gaga and Gwen Stefani in some of their more interesting looks.
  2. The four main Ghostbusters done movie-style, with proton packs and neutrona blasters (plus they could each come with a separate accessory: ghost trap, PKE meter, those goggles, and Slimer). Fight Club 2-pack with Tyler Durden and The Narrator. Pulp Fiction 2-pack with Vincent Vega and Jules Winfield. The Rocketeer (with removable helmet, of course). Reuben Flagg from American Flagg! Hunter Rose (with fork and mask straps, maybe a removable mask) and Grendel-Prime. Rex Libris, the best comic you aren't reading.
  3. Don't know if you guys remember the original pictures from Toy Fair, but there was an eighth Minimate pictured: another Tony Stark in a white "wifebeater"-style undershirt, with the thingee in his chest, presumably from when he was held captive and made the Mark I armor. I'm not sure if that one was eventually dropped from the lineup or DST will be coming out with it later (or possibly for the variant). This is weird -- the Toy Fair Iron Man Minimate pictures aren't on Action Figure Insider or Marvelous News, but I distinctly remember seeing them, with that other Tony Stark included!
  4. I desperately want a Madrox Minimate. Heck, I'd buy multiples, man! He's my #1 choice by far, but I'd like to see Gambit as well.
  5. Starman (Jack Knight)/Shade Fire/Ice Mister Miracle/Barda Captain Atom/Question (Vic Sage)
  6. I got to my comic shop at 5 on the dot, and they were already sold out. Luckily there are a few more places in town I can check tomorrow.
  7. Here's my Top Ten, done as five perfect 2-packs: 1. Jack Knight Starman 2. The Shade 3. Fire 4. Ice 5. Captain Atom (silver) 6. The Question (Vic Sage in trench coat) 7. Deadshot 8. Catman 9. Mister Miracle 10. Barda
  8. I'd kill for Jack Marlowe (in the shiny silver business suit) and Grifter Minimates!
  9. What about that 24 two-pack with Jack and Drazen? Is that still coming out too? Will we be able to get it at our comic shops, or is it some website exclusive?
  10. Fire/Ice Catman/Deadshot Starman (Jack Knight)/Shade Captain Atom/Question (Vic Sage)
  11. I would get an Elvis Minimate, or Tom Waits (my musical hero). As much as I love a lot of musicians, I can't see buying action figures of them.
  12. I'm still hoping for: The Question/Captain Atom Starman (Jack Knight)/Shade Deadshot/Catman Fire/Ice
  13. To be fair, the Kabuki comics by David Mack are well-written and gorgeously-illustrated, but the Shi comics by Billy Tucci are relatively generic T&A "bad girl" comics that smack of bad '90s nostalgia.
  14. A comic shop near me has the Batgirl Minimate loose for something like $8 or $10 -- I forget which. Not exactly cheap, but not a horrible deal either. If you're interested and can pay me via Paypal for cost plus shipping, I could go tomorrow and pick it up.
  15. If there's a goatee then it's Hector Hall, Hawkman & Hawkwoman's son who became the new Doctor Fate at the start of the last JSA series. (It restarted recently.) That basically confirms that all the JSA minimates are going to be from the modern era of JSA characters, if the inclusion of Ma Hunkel & Star Spangled Girl hadn't done that already. So the liklihood of Golden Age characters not part of the current JSA getting minimates are slim. Although that looks like Golden Age Spectre, so I could be wrong. Spectre and Ma Hunkel are both in their Golden Age costumes.
  16. Mister Miracle / Barda Question / Captain Atom Deadshot / Catman Starman (Jack Knight) / Shade Oh wait... those are just my most-wanted DC Minimates!
  17. I'd love the following: Question/Captain Atom Starman (Jack Knight)/Shade Deadshot/Catman Mister Miracle/Barda John Constantine/Swamp Thing Oracle/Black Canary
  18. Howdy all, I just registered and this is my first post here. I'm a regular on the RTM Toy Buzz and some other forums, and though I've been collecting action figures for over two decades (I'm 28), I'm very new to Minimates. I just bought my second Minimate Daredevil/Ghost Rider 2-pack (of the ones we're talking about that are currently available at Target), and both Daredevils have had a waist that slides right off the central peg. I returned the first one since it was so bad, and this one is a little bit tighter but not much. Is this a common problem with these, or just my bad luck? How were the older Minimate Daredevils' waists? Assuming I don't return this one, how can I tighten it so it still swivels but doesn't slide off so easily? For what it's worth, I'm keeping my collection small, and focused on characters I like. I have Spider-Man and brown Wolverine from that Target 2-pack, Iceman and yellow Wolverine (I'd happily trade the yellow one), DD and Ghost Rider (I'd happily trade Ghost Rider), Catwoman from the C3 Batglider, and Green Lantern John Stewart. I'm looking forward to Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, JACK BAUER, Buffy and Angel characters (was this officially announced yet?), and of course I'd love to get Flash and Martian Manhunter, but who wouldn't?
