  1. We've talked about the redesign a little bit before, but yeah, I agree it would make for a great mate.
  2. I'm guessing it's designed to be removed going by other people's posts, but mine was stuck to the paint. When I pulled at it, it tore a strip off the back of the jacket, and the actual peg wouldn't come out at all.
  3. The jetpack on mine was effectively glued in place by the paint on the vest, so be careful pulling it, maybe try the freezer thing first.
  4. I can't think of many, but I thought he was great in This Is 40, and good in Our Idiot Brother. I think he's a good fit for a Wright movie, and can see him being a fun addition to the Avengers ensemble.
  5. Got my Prowl and he has a big white scratch/groove on one of his red head fin things . After the line today picking it up, I was hoping to avoid the post office until January, but this sucker's going back.
  6. Disney only cares about that stuff when it's Disney-branded, they own plenty of other companies that wouldn't have to meet those standards. And they only bought Marvel as a source of IP, it's been years and we haven't seen editorial interference or imposed Mouse executives yet. As for the helmet, going by the rest of his outfit it could just suggest that the character races cars?
  7. Reading this thread costs me way too much money! Between this guy and Starscream, I hope my family's cool with getting hugs for Christmas this year.
  8. I've definitely seen worse than messy eyes on POPs. Funko made My Little Pony vinyl figures that were pretty crap too, like sloppy/inaccurate paint and cheap plastic with lots of scuffs, visible seams, even chunks missing. And things like that and POPs are such basic designs, so it's hard to imagine them doing any better with more complex figures, but who knows.
  9. I was "only" waiting 27 years for it I guess, but I loved it. Can't believe how much great stuff they squeezed into one episode, especially all the humour with the Doctors' interaction (and that bit with the rabbit, ha!). I'm bummed to see Smith go, but still really looking forward to the Christmas episode. The biopic and Five(ish) were great too, and the prequel webisode thing (link if you haven't seen it: http://youtu.be/-U3jrS-uhuo).
  10. There's a fun Doctor-themed Google doodle game up today...
  11. Thanks for all that inside info, Pickle! Definitely appreciate all the times you gave us a heads up.
  12. These are really vibrant in person, great set! Since they own the name, here's hoping DST include a Battle Beast mate in the next one (and a transformable Monster Girl... and Robot... and the Immortal... and Thragg... oh, and Science Dog.).
  13. Idie's a main character in Wolverine and the X-Men, I don't think I've seen the others in anything since AvX.
  14. Congrats Glantern, this was a fun contest, thanks for putting it on guys! And wow, that's some collection of sketch covers minijeff! I'd be afraid to screw something like that up -- now that I know I can just fix things on the computer, I make so many mistakes in the original drawings
  15. Here's mine, the cover from "Professor Xavier Is A Jerk!"
  16. There was Miry's unmade variants thread, although that was more of a "list every variant we can think of" thread than a "most wanted" one: http://www.minimatemultiverse.com/index.php?showtopic=9942
  17. Supposedly there's a new Spidey 2099 ongoing in the works. And Marvel brought several Spidey and Doom 2099 trades back into print in the past year. I think the line is remembered pretty fondly, even if it didn't do much with its strong start and ended badly. And yeah, Spidey 2099 looks a lot different than Pete, but the GR, Doom, Hulk and Punisher designs are all recognizable as takes on those 616 characters, so I think they'd sell fine. It was actually Spidey 2099 that got me into Minimates many moons ago.
  18. Well yes BUT (much like the series she's in) the concept sounds terrible but the character/comic is actually awesome!
  19. Cyborg Spidey was part of the fan poll wave though, so I wouldn't take that as any kind of indicator. If he'd been released in a regular wave planned out by DST, it probably would've been with Deathlok. I don't know if Deathlok's shown up in the comics since X-Force as Nessex mentioned, but there is Death Locket in Avengers Arena, so he's still being referenced at least.
  20. I really just wanted Damian and the containment suit Doomsday (I think he's way cooler than regs Doomsday), so works for me!
  21. Dude, that one's even worse then the New Avengers one. They are both pretty terrible head blocks, but that badly drawn beanie trumps even a missing lower lip for me. I still liked the Power Man mate at the time, but New Avengers Luke was a disappointment from day one. And given how prominent Bendis made Cage in the Avengers books over the past decade, I am surprised this is all we've seen of him, especially after they gave him a more toy-friendly look in the T-bolts comic (awesome custom Mini-Fiend!).
