Ha ha, this is fantastic. I'm definitely on board for this and any potential games.

The local TRU here only has like six left of the Arthur/Iron Man and Haggar/Hulk packs. There used to be three pegs full of 'em so they're selling very well here.

Found 'em in northern Illinois. I grabbed the last of the Thor/Balder and Cap/Crossbones sets but there were a couple of the other ones still left.

Here's my updated list: 1. Blob 2. Pyro 3. Toad 4. Kang 5. Dazzler 6. Enchantress 7. Tombstone 8. Whirlwind Redo: 1. Classic Nick Fury (Really, really want this now that they're coming out with the SHIELD army builder.) 2. Bulked-up Rhino 3. Classic Punisher 4. Classic Loki (Not happy with the original and the new one doesn't have the horned helmet look.) 5. Carnage (I'd love to see what accessories he would come with now.) 6. Bulked-up Colossus

Best: X-Men: First Class - Total surprise of the summer for me. Didn't expect much (after X3, especially) but ended up getting the best X-film yet. Captain America: The First Avenger/Thor - A tie for me. Each film has its own flaws but together they are some of the most fun CBM films around, just like the Iron Man films and Incredible Hulk. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 - Really enjoyed this even with Voldemort's overacting. (NNNNNYYYAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!) Worst: Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides - Wow, what a dull movie. I've never been a fan of the Pirates franchise but MAN. The priest/mermaid subplot was terrible. It was worse than the boring Orlando Bloom stuff in the previous three movies. I'm pretty much done with this franchise now.

Got my Hulk/Iron Man set in today. (Only one I could afford for now.) Love love LOVE the new Hulk. Probably one of my top ten favorite mates. Here's some pics: Avengers Assemble! (At least, some of them.) Fantastic Four #12 cover re-creation. Oh and FA Iron Man is okay. He'll most likely go in the Hall of Armor I'm planning to make. Can't wait to pick up the GG and Sinister sets!

Here's my current Marvel mate collection sitting on the middle shelf of my Marvel "shrine." Broken down in sections-- Spider-Man (with Dr. Strange and Ghost Rider chilling in the front): X-Men: This just got bigger today with the arrival of Emma Frost, Mystique and Apocalypse. Avengers (With Daredevil randomly checking out the action): I plan on expanding this one out once I get the new bulked-up Hulk. Fantastic Four (with Spider-Woman chilling in the background): Really want to pick up a Galactus Mighty Mugg to round this one out... Soon this will be redone entirely since the Spidey section is too cramped and I need a place to put Dr. Strange, Daredevil, etc.

Feeling the exact same right now. I'm playing Hulk: Ultimate Destruction to (uselessly) get my mind off it.

Fox only has the film rights to the X-Men/mutant characters. Marvel can do anything they want with their animation division. The only company that threw a wrench in Marvel's animation stuff was Sony since they used to have the TV rights to Spider-Man. (Which is why he never showed up in the Super Hero Squad cartoon) But now that they've relinquished those rights, Marvel is free to do anything animation-wise now. Also, Wanda and Pietro might show up in season two since they were hinted at in an interview on one of the EMH DVDs.

You mean Sony. They're the ones with the Spidey film rights.

I agree, the colors are perfect, IMO. I do prefer the alternate "bowl-cut" hair-piece thats coming with the Wave 41 version, though. EDIT: Oh. Didn't realize that the TRU version is also coming with alternate pieces. Sweet! I know! I'm dieing to get Hulk and GG's glider. EDIT: Crap. Now I want to get the Hulkbuster mate.

Found these at my local TRU. The Boogeyman sets were already gone and I grabbed the last Blackie/Sam Hain set as I only had enough for one set. I gotta say, Blackie is HUGE. He completely dwarfs the bulked-up Juggernaut. Also, whats up with Sam Hain's feet? If I put them on he leans to his right. Eh, I just take them off so he sits on the robe. I can't wait to pick up the other two sets tomorrow!

Cool, they have the traps on the left side of the packs just like in the show. Can't wait to get these!

They're pretty much the same color as regular minimate flesh. I also agree that we need a bulked-up Rhino. The original looks absolutely puny compared to the other Spidey mates. (Venom should never be bigger than Rhino. ) Rhino and Abomination are really the only other beefed-up mates I want after Wave 41 Hulk though a Wendigo would be pretty cool. A bulked-up classic Blob would be fantastic, too. Also, I don't own the Hulkbuster mate so I wouldn't know if he's bigger than Juggs or not.

It'll be a bit before I can post more pictures since the batteries in my camera died. I did try to put Darktide Juggy's helmet on the new one and it doesn't fit. I think the new head is slightly larger than the older one's.

These appear to come from the better factory as they don't have hideous tans. Nightcrawler's shoulder pieces are a bit brighter than the reds on his chest and crotch piece, though. Speaking of Nightcrawler's crotch piece, for some reason it really limits his leg articulation. What the hell...? EDIT: Never mind, managed to loosen the joint up a bit and now he has regular articulation. He comes with a BAMF! base, obviously. I dunno if his tail is new or not as I never owned the original. (For some reason the lighting really sucks in this picture.) Here's Marko without his helmet on and next to the bulked-up Thing for a size comparison. I think with the helmet on he's probably the largest Marvel mate I have. As for posability, he's about as articulated as said Thing. The huge boots do limit how far you can bend his knees but he isn't a statue. The helmet prevents him from looking up and down but with it off you do get some neck articulation. Man, I can't get over how friggin' huge this mate is. He's really imposing especially compared to his former self before he started using EXTREME Bo-Flex:

Just got this in. Really liking the new Juggernaut and Nightcrawler. Don't know much about Excalibur except for a random issue I read in the 90s where they fight Looney Tune rip-offs so I'm not familiar with the other two characters. If you guys have any questions, ask away!

...Huh. Glad I got it for $17 a couple of months ago.
