I was wondering if marvel minis ended who would aa have to make before it stopped producing this line?

Lets say they have seven (to make an even 30) more series besides the ones previously annouced, and no box sets or convention exlusives.

Would you want a costume variation or a complete new character?

Well, there's Thor and Punisher: War Zone, not to mention Nick Fury, Avengers, and God knows how many others on the horizon. Though we haven't seen trailers for any of them, we do know that it takes a while for a Minimate wave to go from production to release, so at least one of them could fall into the line up by Wave 30.

Yeah I know some of the match ups aren't pretty but I tried to be semi realistic and yet get what I want and share some love.

I've noticed a trend in the last couple waves, and the upcoming wave 23 (movie franchises aside) of mixing up teams. Instead of doing "purist" waves – e.g., all X-men or all Avengers – they've been giving us two-packs with a good mix of different characters from key titles.

While this might frustrate fans who want every single character from their favorite team, I personally think it's a good move on DST's part. Diversifying the waves seems to increase the chances that everyone will pick up at least one pack from the wave rather than passing on all of them because they don't like that particular team. And once you pick up one pack, we all know what happens...

For example, here's a wave I could see happening:

Wave 24

Gambit and Deadpool (the Hawkeye/Vision pack shows DST will throw a bone to the fanboys when appropriate)

Falcon and Red Skull (both popular characters who have seen action in recent comics)

Hercules and Captain Marvel (again, both have seen a lot of action recently; Captain Marvel is the variant)

Captain Marvel is just a recycled hairpiece; minimal reused pieces for Gambit (trenchcoat, quarterstaff and hairpiece), Deadpool (similar setup to Taskmaster) and Red Skull (waistcoat piece and a pistol); only Falcon and Herc would need new sculpts.

Haven't made a full list of wave by wave yet, but I really felt the need to agree with karamazov, haha. I'd love to see a Wrecking Crew box set, it was one of the first things that came to mind when I saw this thread. Not only would it add to the few villains we have, but it's also a relatively wide group. The Wrecking Crew's fought everyone from classic Avengers to the Runaways. A must for a box set, in this guys opinion.

I'm also a little surprised to see how many people want Young Avengers minimates. They are some great characters, but I thought I'd see some older characters popping up as opposed to ones with only a handful of issues under their belts.
