AdyCarter
Quoting DCD: "September 5: DC Minimates Wave #5 - (Captain Marvel with Mary Marvel, Hawkman with Hawkgirl, Guy Gardner with Kilowog, and Red Tornado with Ma Hunkel) - was September 19" Woo! MINI_MYTE
Here's a DC Direct shipping update link
MisterPL
This is great. And what's better is that I don't have to agonize about getting to the comic shop early to get a chase figure because DC Direct wisely does not offer them. Collecting this line is FUN, plain and simple. (Hadn't mentioned that in a while.)
God Magnus
Awesome! 14 days closer to Guy Gardner andKilowog!!!
arnim zola
dc pushes forward and marvel pushes back, over and over and over. Go fig.
Valo487
DC Direct has their stuff in order so well they can actually move release dates forward, while the Marvel waves get pushed back months at a time. Yet again DC tops the Marvel waves. And I prefer Marvel, but it's getting harder and harder to ignore this stuff....
winkerbean
so over the next 4 weeks we're getting a kitchen sink full of minimates thrown @ us, dc 5, trek 1, bsg 2, marvel 16, rocky 1. to quote rod & tod flanders "thank you lord"
thebatman312
I can't wait, I love the DC mates. I'm pretty pumped about getting a red tornado mate!
winkerbean
I've just been looking at the the pic's of red tornado and on the background pic behind the actual figure he looks 2.5"
VictorVonDoom
Naw, he's 2 inches, it's just that Ma Hunkel is using the Penguin short feet.
evenflow
Very cool, the DC wave i have been looking forward to most.
comedian
I'm always happy to have me some Mates ahead of schedule. What's funny is thanks to you guys, I usually know more than the LCS I buy from on the status of the releases. For instance, I could walk in the day teh DC Mates are released and unless the owner is working, they won't have any idea if the mates are there. And this is after they have unpacked everything and started to fill hold slots. And they keep telling me the DC mates are selling really well, so they buy a bunch (because all the owner could talk about was how poorly the Marvel Mates sold in the last year or so, before the first DC wave). Nice people, but not always on top of things. What were we talking about again?
hutchprime
Great news. Now if we can just get wave 7 moved from March to January. ^_^

It's been a bit random when we get them over here. Best way is to speak to your local comic shop Take care, Jo

All I have is a Forbidden Planet, which haven't had ANY DC mates at all. Ever. Plenty of places online as well if you're stuck locally. The Vox
I love hearing about a wave coming early!! The only news better than that is just the news of the wave in the first place. They are doing a great job of balancing anticipation and excitement over new waves. Waves come early, Prototypes for future waves appear regularly, and the selection is outstanding.. DCD is doing it right.
Valo487
You're right, DCD is doing it right. How sad that at this point I wish DCD was releasing the Marvel mates too, as absurd as that would be. Whatever it takes to get them out ON TIME....

MiniDevil
I am glad that DCD does not do chase figures, but still enjoy the hunt that comes with the chases DST does mostly with Marvel.
