Marvel Minimates 10th Anniversary Masterpiece Contest

This year is the 10th Anniversary of the Marvel Minimate line so what better way to celebrate than with another contest for some awesome prizes! We have a massive amount of control art and sketches from some of the recent Marvel Minimate waves by none other than DST Minimate Designer Uriel Caton! Zach and Uriel have graciously given these along with a cool Hulk TTA presentation board.

For this contest we want to see what masterpieces you can create to celebrate Marvel Minimates 10th anniversary. Entry is simple, create a Marvel minimate work of art worthy of the world's finest museums and galleries (well at least worthy to be displayed on our little slice of the multiverse). Only the most magnifique entries will win prizes.

Rules:
1.) For your entry the main requirement is that it must be related to Marvel Minimates.
2.) Your entry can be pretty much anything that would fit in an art museum or gallery: mostly any media picture creation (this includes comic cover or scene recreation in any format), drawing, painting, photo, sculpture, etc.
3.) Please submit your entry in this thread and note on it that it's your official entry.
4.) This must be a new creation from the start of this post. This doesn't mean that everything in it must be new. For example you can take a picture of your figures or old customs, as long as it is a new picture. You can take a bunch of old pictures and create a new collage. You can create a brand new custom and call it a sculpture (or actually make a Marvel Minimate sculpture). If you have more questions about this please ask.
5.) Only one entry per person.
6.) You can make changes to your entry up to the deadline of this contest.
7.) Remember safety first and that we are a family friendly site.
8.) MinimateMultiverse takes no responsibility or liability for any broken laws, damage or general mayhem caused in the process of creating your entry.
9.) Any entries that do not post either due to timing or technical issues are not the responsibility of MinimateMultiverse.
10.) MinimateMultiverse has the right to change the contest or rules at any time. This includes but is not limited to the completion date and prizes.

Dates:
Entries will be accepted between now and May 31st at 11:59 PM CST.
Voting begins immediately after end of entry date until June 7th at 11:59 PM CST.
Winners will be posted shortly afterwards.

Voting:
The PM Ballot system will be used for the voting.

Each submitted ballot must list in order, the top three most creative entries.

1.) Most Creative Entry
2.) Second Best Entry
3.) Third Best Entry

Anyone can vote, even the participants.
If you are a participant, you cannot vote for your own entry.
The 10 point minus system will be used to calculate the results.
Points awarded will be as follows: 1st will get 10pts, 2nd will get 9pts, 3rd will get 8pts.
Tie-breakers will be decided by my daughter Emma.
During the voting period, please send all ballots by PM to me.

Don't let your fellow Canadians down. Pack 6 is the entire 10 sheets for Alpha Flight. Imagine how good those will look framed hanging up on your walls! And I know you have a camera; so a few mins outside with a minimate or two and poof you have an entry.

Talent not really required, there are 2 random winners. All you have to do is enter.

And before it's asked, the answer is yes, this is worldwide.

I'm sure you guys can tell my favorite piece is the Brood Wolverine. Did you guys notice some of differences in the characters? Check out ASM Lizard with the one-piece tail and also Puppet Master with the rounded head. And it may be one of the smaller packs but the Crossbones & Punisher pieces are really really awesome! Which pieces do you guys like the best?

I'm probably alone on this one - but the Boomer/Rictor/Longshot/Dazzler package is ALL kinds of awesome.
