Twisted Two-Face
What hair is that? BSG Cavil, I think. I pulled it out of a box of accessories, but I'm pretty sure Cavil was the original owner. Close, it's Doral's, but looks repainted. Don't recall that piece ever being grey.
TENIME_art
Me either. Pretty sure Cavill just came with his hat.
Turtle
The database confirms Cavil came with a hairpiece, just not that hairpiece.
stack32
You guys are right, after looking at the MMDB again it's not a Cavil hairpiece and it certainly looks like the one from Doral. I never paint minimates, so it's definitely a production piece, but I don't have a clue where it came from.
dj87
It is the Cavil hairpiece, it just looks different as it has been flipped in the photograph.
Turtle
But the suit isn't flipped, is it?
Twisted Two-Face
It is the Cavil hairpiece, it just looks different as it has been flipped in the photograph. It is definitely Aaron Doral, but grey. (Credit to Ivan as usual)
dj87
interesting. I don't like it when I can't work these things out. Did the Man in Black come with a hairpiece?
TENIME_art
I don't think my Cavill came with a hairpiece.
The Geohound
Just saw some new pics on DST's facebook of this wave and the Hairpiece on Sin Eater looks like it was almost purposely made to have an almost entire secret figure of Nick Fury in the wave. I didn't get Sinny so I can't say for sure, but it really looks like it would be right for it. All the set needs is an Eyepatch head and there would absolutely be a secret figure in there. I almost think that would be an awesome thing for DST to do and just spread extra parts throughout a wave to have a secret figure in there. That would be awesome. MsMarvel fan
afx is having a sale. 20% off and buy 2 get 1 free. a custom "case" (3 orders of a set of 8) is a decent price for those still looking. Sadly, the offerings are slim beyond this wave.
groundhog7s
Sadly their shipping cost puts it at about the same price for a case through other retailers. As always, when you add in shipping costs to their sale prices you come out somewhere around normal retailers prices.
TM2 Dinobot
I'll never understand how AFX stays in business with shipping costs like that.
karamazov80
Must be their gimmicky special deals. I know they got more business from me than they should have when they were giving Web Armor Spidey's away. Little did we know at the time how cheap and easy to find those would be down the road.
groundhog7s
Or the fact that Web Armor Spidey would be available in a pack at TRU. There have been a few times that I've ordered from them at the right time, but it's only when I'm really getting a good deal. Like this promotion would have been better if you could get frees hipping for ordering over $100 (like you could last week) but as it stands it's just okay. groundhog7s
Okay, now AFX has a free shipping offer for orders over $75. It kinda makes it good if you're ordering a bunch of this wave.
MisterMiracle
So I bought the Daredevil/Sin-Eater set from this wave...and Daredevil's mask is messed up. It only covers like 3/4 if his head in the back. Is everyone else's like that or just mine?

dj87
did you mean millimeter? the whole head is about a centimeter. mine goes on perfectly by the way, I realise this doesn't really help, but just answering your question MrM.

Yes, millimeter, sorry. It's barely noticeable on mine but is there slightly, is what i'm saying.
MisterMiracle
Ok, mine must be messed up then. The back left side is okish (still a little gap) but there's a weird angle and the gap increases to very noticeable the further you go to the back right side. Do they still do replacement parts? I'm not sure if it's the head or mask that is the problem.

Mystery Man
This really is a terrific series. Everything compliments everything else so well and goes with what's already released so nicely. Just absolutely terrific.
Twisted Two-Face
This really is a terrific series. Everything compliments everything else so well and goes with what's already released so nicely. Just absolutely terrific. I agree. It's bizarre how this wave just "works;" it has 3 civvies, a Spider-man, an incredibly, immensely, absolutely D-list obscure villain, a B-list hero, and, well, the best Army Builder ever, and yet it's so perfect. I don't even know why, but these are just so much more fun that any others in a long time. Daredevil, JJJ, and the SHIELD Agents are gonna be hard to beat this year.
