  9. Guess I just interpreted it that way. Maybe define/simplify the categories and expand a little bit. Like putting all Avengers and all X-Men eras in one category. Adding a F4 and Hulk category, absorbing Inhumans into F4 or Cosmic or whatever. That way you cover the entire universe and force everyone to pick a little of everything instead of just naming off dozens of characters. Again, that's just how I interpreted it.And I totally understand where Stack is coming from, look what happened in the Walgreens threads.

Classic Avengers - An updated "Horn" mask Iron Man, since the old one from the Iron Man box set is outdated. A new Wasp, since it's hard to get the old one. 90s Avengers - Modern Avengers - New Ronin would be cool, Modern Wasp would be my biggest want though. And an updated Ms. Marvel NOW Avengers - We're basically getting what I would want, since Axis has Falcon Cap, we're getting Captain Marvel, and I have to assume a Kamala Ms. Marvel is coming. Stack, I disagree. There are a LOT of characters - I - wouldn't vote for and a lot of posters who wouldn't vote for the ones I most want, I'm sure. You have to be honest and only vote for the ones you'd want to buy. BV - I wasn't suggesting only one character per group. Or were you thinking that's a good way to get the ball rolling? If so... Classic Avengers - REFRAIN 90s Avengers - Black Knight Modern Avengers - Wasp NOW Avengers - Dr. Strange Classic X-Men - Marvel Girl (green dress) 90s X-Men - Stryfe Modern X-Men - Armor NOW X-Men - Storm Spider-Man - Rhino (sans bracelets/anklets) Mystic Marvel - Shuma Gorath Cosmic Marvel - Shi'Ar warrior Inhumans - Crystal Marvel Knights - NOW Moon Knight (Mr. Knight) Miscellaneous - Deathlok

  14. Is it too soon for me to launch into a whole diatribe about how the Inhumans appeared on Agents of SMASH and I want my Crystal?
  15. I am going to add Mojo and Inhumans. Let me know if i missed anyone.
  16. i'd happily welcome any Inhumans. Lockjaw and Bolt are getting a bit lonely.
  17. Keep in mind that Series 3 reflected the direction the Marvel live-action universe was taking. Luke Cage and Iron Fist were coming to Netflix. Ant-Man was getting a movie. Grey Hulk was rumored to be in Age of Ultron. And "new" characters added to another "Best of" assortment will probably be tied to upcoming films and TV series. I wouldn't be surprised to see Doctor Strange and some Inhumans making the cut as well as Falcon and Scarlet Witch.
  18. Secret wars could be an awesome way to round out previous sets and unfinished teams! There are HEAPS of figures that'd sit nicely with already made minimates. House of M peeps. AoA Bishop/Storm/Quicksilver/Colossus. Inhumans. Ultimate Wasp/Quicksilver/Etc... Morrisons New X-Men Xorn/White Queen. Planet Hulk Cap.
  19. I want to see if the MCU will survive a single narrative. Obviously at some point the characters will need to be recast. That doesn't mean the whole shooting match has to start from scratch (unless something wonderful happens). Fox is getting close to that point now with Wolverine. As popular and successful as Hugh Jackman's incarnation has been, they need an exit strategy. That might come in the form of a "final" movie where Logan "dies," the franchise goes into stasis for a few years while they push Deadpool, and then recast Wolverine as they resurrect the character for Volume 2. To me, it's no different than comics; just because a penciler leaves the book doesn't mean you go back to retelling origins. Just move forward. Marvel Studios seems to be aware of the same hurdle. They'll keep Robert Downey Jr. for as long as it makes sense but in the meantimecultivate other properties like Guardians of the Galaxy and The Inhumans for the inevitable moment when they have to recast Tony Stark. But no reboots, please. Not unless Marvel manages to re-aquire rights to all their characters, from X-Men and the FF to Spidey and Namor. And even then, only if it makes sense.
  20. i could see them doing something akin to the Secret Avengers with a black ops team of SHIELD Agents using Deathlok, Mockingbird, and Quake (Skye) as the central characters and then adding some other c list Marvel characters to fill out the team. either that or they are gonna spinoff the Inhumans characters they've introduced.
  21. well i was sick with them before with all the constant renumberings and relaunches and bad events and killing off good books too soon (Hawkeye, Young Avengers, All-New X-Factor) that have dedicated fanbases and pushing stuff no one cares about (Inhumans/their 80th Avengers title) but if they are gonna really just blow up the X-Men and everything that fans know/love about them just because they are mad they don't have the movie rights, well that's just a bridge too far for me. I will miss Daredevil and She-Hulk but I have a bad feeling post-Secret Wars that the regular Marvel U is just gonna be more or less some shallow Ultimate/MCU-ed version of our beloved 616 anyways.
  22. Yep, it's almost a certainty that he was referring to playing Blackbolt (hence my statement about being curious if the Inhumans movie will be the bridge to a galaxy far far away). I can see it being unlikely that the movies will merge the MCU with Star Wars, but there is still something of a president for it, with Marvel Studios successfully pushing their 'brand' into outer space at the same time that Disney's newly acquired Star Wars 'brand' began producing a new trilogy and numerous spinoffs. There *could* be connectability if Disney so chooses. That being said, the only reason I'm even thinking about it is because of the "merging of brands" comment. Personally, I see Marvel as its own brand. I don't think of it like the 'Avengers brand' and the 'GOTG brand' all under the 'Marvel brand', especially since the Inhumans movie is taking place after the Avengers engage in the Infinity War. It seems that Marvel's sub 'brands' would already be merged at that point... But yeah, I'll say again that I'm probably making a huge leap with that theory.
  23. I've been wondering the same thing for a while, ever since Vin Diesel was interviewed about his potential future with Marvel. He was only officially talking about voicing Groot, but mentioned that Marvel Studios were grooming him for a big role several years down the line. He referred to it as a "merging of brands". The first thing that popped into my mind was that brand 1 is Marvel, and brand 2 is Star Wars. I've been keeps my my eyes open on the net for anyone else talking about that connection, but it doesn't seem to be a solid idea to most people. Perhaps I'm making a huge and illogical jump. But I do think it makes sense, especially now with Marvel having branched out into space based stories. I would be very curious to see if the Inhumans movie creates some sort of bridge with a galaxy far far away (not necessarily excited, but still curious)
  24. If they arent interested in what Marvel is producing than perhaps they no longer wish to be a Marvel fan? There is over 70 years of published collected comics if they wish to keep reading the same stuff over and over. Above Kostis referenced Marvel using the films to showcase characters like Guardians, Inhumans, and Antman, lesser known characters that have never gotten the spotlight before, their popularity has made it so these awesome characters can carry their own series or even multiple of their own series, it gives them a chance to be taken on by writers who before now would have been turned down by Marvel. A Nick Spencer Scott Lang series could never exist before this film happened. Not to mention some of the ideas in the films are GOOD, The Guardians film costumes fit their personalities exceedingly well. Ales Kot has done fantastic things with the new Nick Fury Jr and its awesome to see Coulson fanboying around in the new Shield series. Just because something has been the same way for decades doesnt mean it should be. Im not going to include Hawkeyes new costume because its actually not inspired by the film, seeing as the film was inspired by his ultimate costume, id say the comics look was just created to fit Fractions more down to earth tone which has made for a truly fantastic Hawkeye run. If you are going into a comic book store weekly then you can flip through the comics before buying them, Marvel has also done a pretty good job of providing previews of almost every comic they release every week so by the time you buy it there are multiple ways to know what you are getting.
