Finally picked up Slave Leia today, I got to choose between 6 of them for the best paint apps I could find.

So I went to Hastings today to pick up a Slave Leia from Star Wars Black Series and happened to see one of these Game of Thrones vinyl minis and decided what the hell. So I bought it and my girlfriend opened it in the car, John Snow, I can live with that. I would have preferred Arya, Tyrion, or Danerys but whatever. On the way home from work I decide to stop by Hastings again to grab a couple more blind boxes. They only had one left on the shelf which was disappointing, until my girlfriend opened in the car and it was Jamie freaking Lannister! I don't know what to do with it. My ideal would be to trade it for a bunch of characters I do want but I don't know if there is anybody willing to do that. Does anybody here know much about the Funko forums?

I've seen it twice now and while my girlfriend liked it much better the second time I didn't enjoy it as much. I felt that the pithy one liners were forced into scenes and didn't fit very well in the movie as a whole which really took me out of the story.

Hasbro finally seems to be taking its collective head out of its collective ass and getting case ratios right, at least for now.

Went to my local comic shop and found this set on the shelf, the owner gave it to me for 50% off which was pretty awesome. My favorite has got to be Galactus! Strangely enough this is my first Red Skull, I'm gonna have to fix that.

Puck is much more impressive when he's not just a torso.

My only qualm is with the inconsistency of Caps shield. In Avengers Thor brings Mjolnir straight down on it and the shield deflects all the energy scaring the surrounding forest, which was great. In CAWS the shield sometimes deflects all the energy directed at it but other times launches Cap backwards. The Batroc fight in particular sticks out in my mind, some kicks/puches stagger him backward, some don't. Also winter soldier fires and RPG at him and blows him off the highway then he can walk straight up to a Machine gun pouring rounds into the shield with no problem.

I love these two Cap customs, they are great! I need more parts so I can do stuff like this.

Foo Fighters will more than likely always be my #1 band. My dearest goal is to meet Dave Grohl whom I consider to be a god amongst men. Honorable mentions: Paramore Eminem Hans Zimmer Kesha Mettalica Star Wars Soundtrack Beethoven Smashing Pumpkins Weezer Arctic Monkeys I have little to no respect for bands that cannot perform live. The two worst bands I have seen were Angels and Airwaves and Cage the Elephant. The only reason I saw them was because they were opening for Weezer and Foo Fighers.

I finally caved and watched the trailer, which I have been intentionally avoiding. It doesn't look quite as bad as the pictures that were leaked a couple weeks ago, but it still looks terrible. Why in the hell is Megan Fox playing April!
