I saw Dr. Midnight and non-glow-in-the-dark Spectre (and "all-star" Batman) from the new wave already tonight. I've only seen two from the previous wave on one occasion. The wave schedules, poor distribution, lame characters and price hikes have all but killed this line for me. Seems like that's what happened with the Toy Biz Marvel Legends too. That being said, this is last call for anyone that wants the variant Deadman or Super Powers Steppenwolf...

Those are slick. I never got the Mark III, so this is good news. Hopefully my TRU will get them in before that BOGO 50% off sale ends...

HELL YES! A boxset on them would be awesome with an accompanying wave of villains/support characters. They could do Ultimate F4, House of M F4 or one of their classic uniforms that haven't been done yet. I would love to see a F4 She-Hulk made!

So the two "must-haves" for me (Reed & Storm) are the TRU exclusives. Great. I hope they come at least 2 per case this time. Is that confirmed for this wave yet? Overall a nice looking wave. Hopefully TRU will start upping their Minimate orders. My store usually gets less than five cases of each wave (not all at once), so it's pretty hit or miss in finding them. ...and still no Secret Wars set.

Favre's a has been. He had a surprisingly impressive season, but it ends as usual- throwing a pick under pressure. I think they said his last pass as a Packer was an interception against the Giants in the NFC Championship game. All the jerk had to do last night was tuck the ball and run for a few yards to give a veteran kicker (Longwell) a chance to win the game in regulation. I guess that would have been too easy. The Super Bowl will definitely be interesting this year. Given my choices, I'll have to root for the other Manning. ...and by the way, where did "Who Dat?" come from? It sounds like a bad rip off of Cincinnati's "Who Dey?" which has hometown origins...

The vibe I'm getting it's a case of opps we screwed up! but it wont be addressed. To be honest IMO there are several places out there that are happily selling full sets of 8 so it's not such a huge issue. T. You must not have been one of us that had that set as part of a pre-order that wasn't filled! I ended up finding a full wave on eBay, but had to pay $10 a pack (and one of those, Black Bolt and Captain Marvel, was a duplicate set since I buy 'Mates at TRU too). In the grand scheme of life not a huge issue, but in the Minimate Mulitiverse we live in I believe that it should be addressed since it is keeping some from completing their Silver Age X-Men team. I think that the box sets should have been 5-packs in the first place because TRU exclusivity (X-Factor Angel) and screwed up variant ratios (Silver Age Angel) have kept a lot of Angels out of the collectors' hands and a lot of Minimate X-teams at 80% completion. I think that DST has outperformed a lot of much larger toy companies in the Customer Service area and I just don't understand why they haven't spoken on the matter. If the Angel figures weren't needed to complete the teams, I'd be OK with nobody talking. For whatever reason Angel was needed for the teams, but not included in the box sets. If that was a marketing strategy to sell more 'Mates in more places (AFX, TRU, etc), it was an epic fail...

Has anyone heard anything on Angelgate from DST? As I feared, the price of the Silver Age Angel set is slowly creeping up on eBay...

Blame it on Angelgate! I can't imagine that the company's in trouble with all of the waves that have been flying out...

That Hulk is incredible. The Unlimited Spidey's coloring is amazing. [/bad jokes- I'm not BHM!] And I don't dare show my kids that Harry Potter, they would have me on the hook for 2 customs! How much do commissions run, Luke? I'm sure it varies, but how about a ballpark figure?

I think those single pack cases are around $50 too which means a generic army builder drone costs more than a character from a two-pack...

I was addicted to (and equally frustrated by) that podracing game! I picked up Wii Fit Plus last night. Not bad for $20. I've really been encouraging the kids to play Wii Fit so we don't pack on the winter pounds. They've been so into it lately that buying Fit Plus was a no-brainer. I'm looking to pick up EA's Active next time it goes on sale. Anybody played it?

Could you elaborate? I've only used water slide decals on models and imagine that it would be quite hard to slide one onto a Minimate head and then wrap it around... These zombies look great, by the way, Luke!
