Thanks guys! If I had one guess, it was from a 25th Anniversary Serpentor figure. I will try to locate one to make sure. but i was able to slip a regular minimate head, as well as an old venom tongue head underneath with no problems. Thanks again! Nerv!

Thanks guys for the compliments! Here we have a couple of things i did years ago for a contest that was held, and I never posted them in my thread (as far as I can tell) I had been experimenting a lot with a bag of warhammer/40K bitz that i got from ebay. I always liked this guy, and his walker (made from Prof. X's hoverchair) but I always felt it was too red. I would like to go back at some point and add some splashes of another color or two, to break up all the red. Anyway, here he is... I call this whole setup, the Snake Walker. Thanks for looking!

I agree (although i still really like the figure). His torso should have stayed regular, and had leg and arm extenders, he's streched in the wrong place...

Thanks for the link, that looks pretty sweet. The saddle could be painted..... I need a white horse for my project (which i need to paint). I may be able to use that for another horse riding custom.

Those Horses actually look very good with mates..... no saddles? are there other sets with saddled horses? I'm in the process of working on one of the POTA kubrik horses I got from the always generous Shanester. Very excited to finish a long overdue custom!

I love all these except for ultron (not a huge fan of the character at all). Tese are the kind of mates I love, very colorful. I can't wait to see what Hyperion looks like , wink wink ...... by that, i mean, please make him...

I checked my Hot Topic the other day. I felt very out of place, like i should be wearing mom jeans or something! Sadly, no mates to be found anywhere. I'd really love to get my hands on that clown if anyone has a spare they are willing to give up.

I'm not sure anything can help you avoid trouble ... edit: I think if we are planning another official meetup, the banquet room in our hotel that was used for the one Luke put together was pretty nice, and a good size for our group. I'm down with wherever though, as long as we can mostly get the same hotel. It made things much better in my opinion.

I like them as well and cant wait for Statler and Waldorf, hopefully in deluxe packaging with a balcony frame to display them in! also, pigs in space and electric mayhem!

Man! do I need a minimates styled horse now more than ever. I'm working on a custom right now that needs his horse as much as Ghost Rider needs his motorcycle.... oh wait... Also, We need a big Tiger ... so i can paint it green and add armor to it, and let it Battle!

Ha! that was the first thing i thought of. I used to have pics of those translucent spideys but couldn't find them. If I end up with more than one, I may hit them with a red or blue clear coat to see how it looks.

Not to make light of your situation, but I think it would be hilarious to paint a little face on the neck ball, it would make the armor look that much bigger!

I've actually been thinking of turning it into a Batman or Lex Luthor armor. Or possibly just a repainted generic space armor for noone in particular.

I'm the same way, especially with vehicles. A lot of the stuff that will fit with and be compatible just doesn't have enough of a stylized look for me to put it with minimates. The Mezco batmobiles are so close, but a tad too big. Other stuff is too realistic looking. K.I.T.T. in my opinion, is a perfect blend of the source material, and minimates aesthetic.

Ideally, I think enough to fit in a decent sized shoebox. I've never really displayed them, other than having a few up on a shelf until i put them away (usually whatever the newest batch i just bought). These days there are only a few mates left that i truly want, unless DC comes back, then its a whole new ballgame. I've recently been going thru all my stuff, and got a bit overwhelmed at actually how much i have (the amount of unopened packs is way more than i thought). Trying to separate them all into categories and finding all the missing parts has been a daunting process. Being a customizer more than a collector, once i start looking for the right parts, it looks like a hurricane hit my work area! Once i get complete mates, i plan on trimming my collection by about 75-80 %. Once I get to that point i plan on filling one tote with untouchables (stuff like ares, scorpion, hulkbuster, most of the DC and Thundercats mates) and the rest will be for spare parts and customs. My problem is that i see a part that I'd like to use for a custom on a figure, by the pack, and never get to that part. My closet is full of unopened 2-packs that i don't think i'll ever get to, or open. I do hope the NBX and Muppets do well because i will probably actually display those, and only need one of each out of the ones i like. Except for the swedish chef, because i want to use hit hat for a Purple Pieman custom. I think these will be fun to collect with my kids and nieces and nephews. I'd be happy to talk to anyone looking to help me get rid of all my excess

My son got the Ant-Man set for his birthday. I love the figures and the giant lego built lego bricks are awesome! It was perfect because his birthday was the day after we saw the movie, so he was all Ant-Manned up!
