Hmm... other than BAF, which has been shot down already, I don't have the imagination for what could be special about 20. Maybe a wave of civilian significant others? I'd like an updated MJ and Gwen to go with a civilian Peter. Or a Karen Page. Or a Betty Ross. It's pretty incredible that we got an Alicia Masters already.

There's no getting around the movie waves. We're going to get them and they're going to take up slots. What I hope DST can do this year is really limit the rehashes / alternate costumes to no more than half of the wave. Wave 61 is a great start. Wave 62 is so-so. Hopefully the rest of the comic waves will really deliver on unique characters. I too would love to see Minimates cover the characters that have already been made into Marvel Legends (e.g., Wrecking Crew, Hellcat, Captain Marvel, Medusa, comic GotG).

I was only able to find the Spidey/Mysterio and Iron Man/Ronan packs. Uggggh I hate shortpacking. And to make things worse, there was a peg fullll of the same two-pack of Valiant Minimates taunting me. I mean seriously, does each TRU really need 12 packs of those, while only getting in two of each of the Quicksilver/Vision and Wolverine/Sentinel packs? A head scratcher for the ages.

I'm kinda meh on Gotham. It's a show I leave on in the background. Anyway, I'll probably get the Minimates. But I will not rest until we get Firefly Minimates! All it would take is two box sets and a mini Serenity with the ninth crew member! I'm glad Funko is making 1/6 action figures though.

Fables would definitely pique my interest, but the comic is ending soon, so it seems doubtful.

I'm going to keep hoping each new license is Firefly until we get it. Until then, my life will be filled with disappointment.

I resorted to getting the Kmart exclusives on eBay a long time ago. Paying the premium was simply the optimal way to get them. No wasting time and gas and paying for duplicates just to find the exclusives. Frankly, I don't think anyone likes that Kmart has exclusives. Some tolerate it and I'm sure many (including myself) hate it. A more collector friendly way to distribute these is to allow Kmart to get them first, but without the exclusives. People with Kmarts near them will rush to get them and completists won't have to worry about whether they can find a Kmart or not. I mean seriously, Kraang is an important character in TMNT. Of course people are going to be pissed when it's a blind bag AND exclusive AND at Kmart.

At first I thought that was Toxin, but I guess Carnage has his own Axis title and looks more liquidy now.

I've mostly stopped reading comics, so I'm only really wondering how this will affect my collectibles haha. Will we move straight to Secret War III and post-SWIII and leave all the Marvel NOW stuff in the dust? Hopefully we'll still get the chance to complete classic teams at least.

I believe some of the sets from China might be production samples as well.

How did you get four of the female main character? You went to two locations? All from the same location. All from the same display (they had 2 out on the counter), unless they mixed the contents at the store. It's annoying but probably worth looking like a weirdo for a few minutes fondling the packages versus getting a bunch of duplicates. They're pretty easy to tell apart. If they were in boxes I might've just resorted to eBay.I guess it's more difficult if they're at the counter and the employee gets mad at you. Optionally you can grab a bunch, and wander around the store until you figure out what's what haha.

Found a case at TRU. The paints were pretty bad. I picked up the Mutagen Leo and a decent Mikey pack, but left everything else. I'm hoping these will eventually be abundant enough that I can get versions with better paint.

Hurray I completed the set! I first bought six packs, after doing some light fondling of the bags to eliminate duplicates. After opening five, I could tell the sixth was a dupe, so I didn't open it and gave it away. Then, knowing which remaining three I needed and knowing what to feel for, I did some more serious fondling at a second GameStop to get the rest.

I have a soft spot for Kmart because that's where I used to get Lego sets when they had buy one get one 50% off sales when there were Kmarts still near me as me a kid. This was like... 20 years ago. Dang I'm getting old. I think we all want to get Minimates in as many stores as possible. It's great that they're in Kmarts. It's just problematic when they have an exclusive, because for many of us it's just impractical to go hunting for a blind bag exclusive at a retailer chain that barely exists anymore. I do wonder if these TMNT Minimates are actually reaching kids. Or if it's just us crazy collectors who swoop in and buy all the Minimates off the shelves because they've shown up at Kmarts first.

Dang, I wonder how difficult it will be to get a set. There are enough outlets for TMNT that I'm not too worried about getting those. These, I don't know what to expect.

What's the policy on sculpted or tampo'd neckties? Have we switched completed to sculpted ones? There are some exceptions, such as Alistair Smythe, who has a sculpted jacket over a tampo'd sweater and tie. But when it's just a jacket and tie or just a vest and tie (J. Jonah Jameson), then I assume we get a sculpted tie. I personally like the sculpted ties, but they do clash with the tampo'd ties of older Minimates or the various exceptions.

No new characters? I am dissappoint. It'll probably be an, "Oh that's cool I guess," reaction from me. Hard to get too excited. I would've loved getting Young Avengers Minimates though.

Love the Brotherhood. Not a huge fan of the X-Men costumes, but (as others have mentioned) there have been enough characters over the years who have only worn that costume (or are best known in that costume), that it'd be fun to QC some of them.

I have the first Ghostbusters promo way back when. Hopefully these green (30th anniversary?) ones won't be too expensive on the secondary market.

Dang it'd be crazy if they canceled FF. On the Minimates side, I won't mind if we don't get FF Minimates for a long while. I've never been a big fan of FF to begin with, and how many variations of FF costumes do we really need? Though if some secondary characters who have never been made get snuck in a random assortment, that'd be cool. Hmm I guess that probably means we won't be getting The Amazing Bag-Man anytime soon.

I'm surprised we're not getting more Inhumans stuff, considering how much Marvel Comics is pushing that event.
