It's been a while since I pre-ordered these guys, and I am looking forward to seeing the new packaging in-hand. Also really curious to see how the new design will carry forward. 82 is just a couple months out, right?

I recently learned that not only were Schwarzenegger and Ventura governors, but Sonny Landham (who played Billy) also ran in a primary for a Kentucky gubernatorial election. Shane Black or Carl Weathers need to run for office, and keep the streak alive. I'll also take this time to campaign for a new/final/commemorative box set, with "a Dutch" variant, a chest-hole Blain, an arm-rip Dillon, and a plasma-casting Predator with spinal column accessory.

Did we already guess Sesame Street for the Mystery License? I think we did. I guess I am just trying to squint to see how it could be something other than pro wrestling.

I don't know of any father figures in X-Men lore outside of Charles. Proteus can possess people, but AFAIK he was never anyone's father figure. Plus, this was someone who "turned to evil," i.e. didn't start out that way. I'm also stumped.

Looking forward to the mystery license reveal! I also like the sound of VHS-style packaging, this could be really fun for TF/GJ.

Attack on Titan would offer some interesting synergy between Vinimates and MiniMates. I didn't guess it though because AoT was meant to be ending this season and IIRC, one of the assertions for this license was that it wasn't going anywhere anytime soon? Fast forward to now, which has revealed AoT to have the world's longest final season, with a Part 3 on the horizon for 2023.

War Thor is pretty sick. Loving Grizzly too, what a great idea I am going to have to steal for my collection... And Owl is spot-on.

That's a good callout. He's the only Neal Adams-era costume we don't have. (Beast can be reasonably QC'd with the X-Factor chest, and swapping his pelvis + belt)

The fun thing is that many of these would still be relevant as MCU releases, with the exception of: Gargoyle, Clea, Black Talon If we want to go full multiverse, Brother Voodoo's brother technically appeared in the first Doctor Strange movie, Dracula was in Blade III and Son of Satan had his own (crappy) Hulu series.
