Wow, that is exactly how I feel about this. I think if I lived in the states I would be a lot more excited because then it would be more like a hunt. But because I live North of the border I feel like this is an even bigger kick in the pants. It's like, "hey guys, great news! The line is not dead!!!...... but you can only get them in one country, in one chain of stores, so good luck." Those damn FYE packs were hard enough to get and I just got lucky one day. I collected three of each set before but now that I will have to find some way of getting someone else to find these sets for me, the extra costs of shipping, no chance of getting the cardboard box they were shipped in (I also collect those), gas wasted on extra trips to the states hoping some stores will have a full set in stock, etc. This is starting to feel more like a burden then anything else because I feel a 'need' to complete this line of figures. Still, as much as I complain (even in the past) I am very happy to see this line come back from the dead. Also, I sure am glad there is this place where I have some friends who would help me out with these. Damn Plastic Crack!

If I had to guess what it is about in terms of BSG merch..... I would say it is about the action figure coming with the complete series box set.

Finally saw the pictures in previews the other day for the new figures. Looks like the AUTOGRAPHED HOT DOG figure will have the autograph under the plastic bubble like the autographed chief figure. Makes it an official package variation.

OK. "Most toy collectors I know" Did you miss that part? Here, let me help you out with that. "Most toy collectors I know. I was only speaking of people I know as that is the only example I can actually use. Is there a rule that I can't post here anymore? I still have my almost complete set of BSG mates (all but that dang greeting card). Does that allow me to still post here? I also don't think I am the only person who lost intereast in mates who still posts here. I could be wrong though. Also, I hardly post at all anymore if that counts for anything. I will admit that using the word sad was a very bad idea, but it is. EDIT: I am coming off as a dick here the last couple days. Sorry guys. Don't get me wrong, I want these as much as the rest of you who read this thread. Hopefully TRU will decide to skip a wave of 7" figures and give us the rest of our BSG mates. Also, don't forget that when the Busts were cancelled, some of us collectors were real bummed with no hope. Then a little online store called urban collectors gave us another chance by picking up and selling the Starbuck bust. So who knows? I happen to have a nack for always being wrong so I would not be surprised to see these someday, and someday soon.

But the question is if they do something like this, will they be able to ship outside the USA?

Not true, Toys'r'us Canada picked these up as well. Series one of both the Minimates and the action figures. They ordered them through Diamond Comics because there was no other way they could order them in Canada. Just thought I would share a little BSG knowledge with you MOC. For old times sake. Hope you follow me. so actually that continues to prove my point, that these did not sell. I was not disagreein' with you that this line failed. I was just saying more then just one store gave it a chance. It honestly makes me sad that people still have hope for this line. It is dead! All the stores want to carry for BSG are 7" action figures. If I had to choose between BSG Minimates or BSG busts coming back from the toy grave to full time line, I would pick the busts. The idea of BSG Minimates was fun until you ask yourself "what kids are gonna ask for BSG toys to play with?" Star Wars is one thing, Star Trek is even ok but BSG is not for the young. Most adult toy collectors I know only buy stuff they grew up liking, not a show they just saw on television and enjoy a great deal. Yeah it sucks this line ended, but every toy line ends. It just sucks balls that we saw what could have been. And I wish I was still buying minimates MOC, because that Black Widow is gonna rock socks!!!

I am with you on this one DooMmonkey. I could see the return of DC minimates. Not Supes or the Bat though, more along the line of Creator owned characters published by DC (the spirit). I mean most of the Vertigo titles are Creator owned. Maybe when we start to see some more Vertigo films, minimates may follow. Vertigo and Great Science fiction (Blade Runner, Day the Earth Stood Still, Enders, etc) are the only things that could bring me back to minimates.

That is one Blank I will need to get. Mostly because it says Battlestar Galactica on the bag. Hopefully someone can help a guy out.

SDCC BSG exclusive might be a re-release of the NYCC Stealth Cylon (from my understanding). Hopefully they keep the same package, would suck for those who have to buy two of the same figure because of a package variation. Or it might mean stealth Razor Cylon.
