Nice work!

I have the parts assembled for mine. Next I need to sculpt some pieces, and then design some decals. I have had trouble finding time to customize lately, so I expect it will be another 2-3 weeks before I am finished. I am hoping to see some more awesome entries before then. :)

Do we have a "master list" of what type of robot everyone's doing? If possible I'd like to make another robot that will be "Astro Boy" style.

It seems like the possibilities are endless with robots, so I didn't feel like we needed a master list. But if you want to stake a claim on something, go ahead and throw it out there. :)

Can i still join in?

Definitely! I will add you to the master list. :D

I have an idea for a robot I want to make sure is "minimate style" before I make it:

If I take some Dollar Store robot pieces and assemble them so it goes:

-minimate head

-non-minimate robot body

-minimate arms

-non-minimate robot hands

-minimate hips sunk into non-mate robot torso

-minimate legs

-non-minimate robot feet

is that a 'minimate robot'

it'd be about as detailed as the Iron Monger or Crocodile Battle Beast, but does the use of non-minimate pieces invalidate it as being a true 'mate?

OK, I might just take a crack at this but need some clarification.

1. May we use all sizes? 2, 2.5, or 3 inch?

2. How much articulation must they retain?

3. Will I lose my reputation as the world's laziest customizer.

4. If this works out, how can I make a living at it?

5. Should they be kid-safe? Or are they for "collectors"?

OK, 3 and 4 were out there.

How about the rest?

Anxiously awaiting your reply. . .

Glad to hear it!

1. Any size minimate is fine

2. This is totally up to you, but I would suggest that they be somewhat articulated

3. Sounds like its not a bad thing to lose!

4. 6 Suggestions on Doing Commission Work (via Minimate Factory) :D

5. These are aimed at collectors, however you should probably mention if your custom has anything dangerous for children like sharp metal edges.

Well there has been numerous amounts of robot duplicates of famous distructive monsters,

Mecha-Godzilla,

Mecha-Godzilla 2,

Mecha-King-Ghidorah,

Mechani-Kong,

and many others.

But none can roundhouse kick as great as this one!

I present:

CHUCK-NORRITRON!

Hey gang. I volunteer to make the file cards for the project.

I have a template I will pm luke and send him a copy for his review (if that is cool)

I will only ask the participating members to send me a pm with the contents of the custom

so I can make a pdf version of the file card, that can be attached emailed whatever to each customizer.

Thanks moc!

I think we should use the information on the cards that MINI MYTE suggested originally:

Model name, number or acronym:

Manufacturing number:

Height:

Weight:

Primary function:

Secondary function:

Offensive /Defensive capabilities (if applicable):

History:

Only one change I would make, on my prototype that is now at work...but will send tomorrow

I had worked up some graphs to show the following

energy projection

strength

flight

AI (artificial intellegence)

these can all be rated 1 - 10. anyways I will work up a mock up (no pun intended) and send it to luke in the am.

It's been raining like crazy here for the past few days, but today we had a very nice sunny day so I was able to spray coat my charity mate!

He (she? it?) still needs some detail paint, but I'm so happy I got to spray him finally I'm posting a WIP shot:
