luke314pi
I'm glad they arrived safe and sound! Here is another picture of each one that I took before shipping them: I made a set for myself as well, which is definitely troublesome, as now I will want Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, Hagrid, etc, etc, etc... Harry uses a Spirit trench coat with the gaps in the collar filled in with apoxie sculpt. His sleeves are also apoxie sculpt. He has CEO Tony Stark hair painted dark brown, and Spirit legs and feet. homestar17
Now that I'm a little less tired, my SS sent me a cute little coffee box with the cloak/dagger 2-pack & the beat-to-heck spirit 2-pack. Thank you for the little note, too! The package was wrapped in the bag from Midtown Comics in NYC & my SS has very nice handwriting! I still don't know who it is, but for some reason I'm leaning toward Skullbuster (though I have no reason why, really). My detective skills completely fail this year. EDIT: I totally forgot to add that some yummy chocolates were in the box as well! Edited January 2, 2010 by homestar17
Nessex
WOOT!!!! I have just received the most AWESOME SS gift. I Received: a loose Man-Bat Minimate - which is brilliant, because i almost paid a ridiculous sum for him on eBay recently. An Ultimate Thor & Nick Fury 2 Pack - Again, awesome, because these hadn't hit Canberra yet. AND - the COOLEST thing of ALL - a Circa 1990's Mr Sinister Action Figure. NERD-GASM! I feel really guilty now - someone has gone to so much effort to find me a really great personalized gift. I'm gonna have to lift my game next year & do a bit more research. Now - the other thing that was inside my SS parcel was a stick of the Legendary Blackpool Rock! My ex tells me that Blackpool Rock was the first hard candy to have the writing run all the way through it. Assuming that the Blackpool Rock is a clue & not just some randomly included candy, i'm gonna wager that Gledzee might be my Santa? he's the only chap i know of on here from Blackpool. Thanx a million buddy - this was an incredibly well thought out gift & VERY generous! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! EDIT: Pic Added. The cost of postage always hurts, but the delays are so sporadic; Some items take me over a month to receive, some arrive in 5 or 6 days. It's a bit of a lottery. Guess it depends on what which shipment customs wants to take it's time with. Anyway - thank you again Gledzee. You REALLY went above and beyond & put many of us (including me) to shame on this one. luke314pi
I got my present in the mail, and it is amazing! Here is what I got: Lego Batman / Pure for the 360 Tombraider Legend for the 360 Metal Gear Saga Vol 1 6 Seasons of Beast Wars X-Men: Darktide DVD X-Men: Phoenix Sage Digital Comics CD I have wanted all three of those 360 games, especially Lego Batman. My 3-year old son is VERY excited about it, and we are going to start playing it tonight! I have also always wanted to watch Beast Wars. I have all the G1 Transformers stuff on my computer already, so I can't wait to start watching these! Everything else is just icing on the cake! And after a very brief amount of detective work, I discovered that my secret santa is TM2 Dinobot! Luckily he placed an order in the store, or I might not have figured it out! Thank you SO much!!!
