luke314pi
Here are the new pictures of the Training Room Dioramas, along with minimates! Click any image below to view a larger version: These sets will come in pieces with instructions on how to glue them together. This opens up a lot of possibilities for displaying these sets. You can leave off the claws and saw blade for a more vanilla display to use as a filler piece. You can position the claws in different positions and orientations. The cannon rotates and can be removed. The walls can all be rotated 180° for a different look. And as I mentioned before, these will come with a second set of stickers, which will have a stainless steel appearance. Pictures of the stands with this sticker set are coming on Thursday. I will also have pictures of one additional diorama that works with the Broken Wall Diorama. Plus another surprise. These sets will go up for pre-order on Thursday for $7.99 each. There will also be a package deal that will save you a few bucks. I will ship them as I finish them, and I will be giving a higher priority to Secret Santa orders. I already have a good number of these sets produced, and I will be making a lot this weekend. I hope you like it!
Rheul
Looking real good Luke! Will the brick wall display be up on Thursday as well?
luke314pi
Looking real good Luke! Will the brick wall display be up on Thursday as well? Yes, both parts of the brick display will be up for pre-order on Thursday along with new photos. I forgot to mention this before, but I actually modified the Broken Wall Diorama based on feedback here to give it another foot peg, and to smooth out the sides and make them even, to allow for better side-by-side displays. Punisher
Wicked, Luke! Definitely interested in getting all five sets eventually!
Danny
I am so down for these it's untrue. The Training Room diorama looks fantastic!
Bob Harris
Wicked, Luke! Definitely interested in getting all five sets eventually! That sentence is great! Definitely interested in getting them eventually! That's elaborate for maybe, isn't it? However, those trainingroom stands look awesome and I really wonder how long it will take DST to come up with stuff like that. I'm pretty sure they'll be interested in how much of them you sell, Luke.
Nessex
I'm VERY keen to get these Training Room sets . . . especially if they come with that Blue tinted Iceman
TM2 Dinobot
I am not nearly as excited about these as I was about the wall. Though I guess it's cause I was never even remotely an xmen fan. Still, these look amazing.

Punisher
That sentence is great! Definitely interested in getting them eventually! That's elaborate for maybe, isn't it? Would if I was to insert a semicolon after sets, to signify a witty comment, Bob? Wicked, Luke! Definitely interested in getting all five sets; eventually! Sound a tad bit better? blacksun1520
I am loving all these sets, especially the damaged wall. I'll second a hint to my Secret Santa Every time I see something that you produce Luke, I am amazed at how professional it looks, but these are astounding! I can't believe these didn't come off an assembly line at a toy manufacturing plant. Just incredible! BS
Cappy
heh. Loving the big canon. Time to sit down and think about how many of each I'm going to need...
Mirymate
I'll be dipped. So I guess I know who'll be getting some of my Christmas money.
TENIME_art
They look amazing!! Any chance on a request before you go mass-producing, though? Maybe include a foot peg on the wall of one of them? Be good for some jumping or flying poses (or Beast)?
luke314pi
Time for the last reveals in this series! Broken Window Diorama (with wall peg!): Click to view larger image: Here is the modified Broken Wall Diorama with the additional foot peg, along with some pictures of both sets together: Click to view larger image: As promised, here is a picture of the alternate set of stickers for the Training Room Dioramas (click to view larger): And here is the surprise I mentioned before (based on BHM's suggestion here): This new decal kit comes with over 60 individual decals, including bullet holes, blood splatters, scorch marks, claw marks, cracks, oil spills, debris, and more! As you can see in the picture above, it works great with the Training Room Dioramas, but these can also work on almost any flat or curved surface, like the lego buildings that BHM mentioned in his post. And with all of that said, everything is up for pre-order now! Mini-Figure Dioramas Battle Damage Decal Kit I put December 9th as the initial ship date for the dioramas, but this will get moved back once I receive more orders than I have produced. It is first come, first served as I am able to produce these, although I will give special priority to any secret santa orders. Once again, thanks for all your suggestions throughout this thread! TM2 Dinobot
See? Now you've got me all excited again. How do these connect together?
luke314pi
See? Now you've got me all excited again. How do these connect together? They just sit next to each other. I am keeping things pretty simple until I am able to afford some more advanced equipment. I forgot to mention that the Broken Window Diorama comes with an alternate sticker for the window that makes it look like a dungeon with metal bars. Danny
In the end I couldn't decide between the Broken wall diorama and the Training Room one. The Broken Wall is gritty and dark but the Training Room looks like a lot of fun! So I ordered both full dioramas, the decal kit and some Minimates Luke I really think these are gonna be big! Best of luck to you with these, you obviously have my full support!
groundhog7s
I forgot to mention that the Broken Window Diorama comes with an alternate sticker for the window that makes it look like a dungeon with metal bars. That sounds cool, but I'm thinking about making a custom 'Wanted' posters that would fit over the hole instead. Very nice stuff Luke. kurtman
i suppose if you used the wall peg on the broken window in the right way, you could position someone so that look like some one has just smashed them trought it (punisher!). but on topic, these are great. but living in the uk i just wish you had released them sooner (i ordered some last week). i really like that we finaly have something to pose our minimates with and the decal set is a nice surprise. NorthRaider
Broken Window Diorama (with wall peg!): Looks more like our next-door neighbor's flat-screen TV after its date with a flying shoe
murderofcrows
Luke I have waited to comment on these for a while now, and can finally hold my tounge no longer...these look amazing! It really takes them from toys to an adult collectable art form! Just an outstanding job... A really quick question for you, I am sure you have seen the slimer floating stands well one now comes with the silver surfer tru figure as well. In a very recent post on the fwoosh, someone posted pics of all the flying figures using the same stand. As you are becoming a molding master...have you considered making flight stands as a stand alone item? cast in different colors you could show jet pack blast, clear for self sustained flight...blue, green, or red for magical flights...etc I would think you could design a simple enough stand, that would be easy to sell, I mean Hell I would have to buy some for over 1/2 my mate collection.... just a thought... moc847
Strider
Awesome stuff! I'm hooked and I love the foot peg on the wall. It's a real nice touch. I'd also be down for some flying stands! You could always make them clear or give them some kind of color. I have the translucent green one with the green lantern minimate right now and it works great.
