cdubya
Check out this pic of the AIM agent without his helmet on. BTW, I wonder what that playset all the AIM agents are on is? That photo thrills and sickens me simultaneously; I will never be able to own that many A.I.M. agents (unless they are available elsewhere later)! All of the Marvel 'mates look great, even the ones I'm not interested in (Ultimates, Wolverine). Ghostbusters looks better to me now compared to the first photo I saw. I'm excited! Terminator is really shaping-up into a nice comprehensive line. The Spirit all look nice (only really interested in the comic version. Movie for fodder), but I can't believe that with Trek and BSG on hold, this box-office turd set is still a-go (I guess it must to "green-light" the more desirable Comic line). But where the heck is the BSG showing that they were working on (I suppose there's still a few days, or maybe they weren't able to make the necessary changes in time for the Fair)? Overall, more "great" than "meh" (though I still need some BSG love!).
SErge
1.sabretooth(both versions) 2.PSylocke 3.stay puff 3.Magneto(because now I know he has that helmet!) 5.all the ghost busters! 6.the cap of ultimate 7.sigourney weaver/slimer 8.ultimate hulk!!! 9.wolverine(28) 10.terminator 2 single pack(damaged terminator) excellent year of the minimate!! :D

Trekker 42
AhHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Man that Stay-Puft made me Laugh out loud. Ths is by far the greatst year ever for Minimates. In fact, the only things I saw that I DON'T want to get are Wolverine through the Ages and T2. I want that Giant Spider-Man in This pic. Deadpool is amazing, all o Wave 28 is amazing Did you notice the little tank for Ultimate Iron Man? I'm impressed how detailed they got. Everything Ultimate is amazing. But if I run out of money, that's the one I'm skipping. What's with the Chalice? I mean, Doom gets a random Chalice but Red Skull gets no Cosmic Cube? What is this? But I still love the Villains Boxset. Heroes is... Heroes. Nothing there. Skipping this. Maybe I WILL get the Ultimates. Series 25... Eh. Same old. Probably skipping this one other than Skully. Definately going to get the WWII Ultimate Cap if possible. Even if I do miss Ultimates Wave. Don't think that's meant to be Wolverine in a SHIELD suit. Wolverine never was SHIELD. He was asoldier, but Weapon X, not SHIELD. Love that Mijonir. Fury looks Awesome. So freaking Awesome. I'm going to guess that this is how the wave goes: Cap (or WWII Cap)/SHIELD dude Fury/Hulk Thor/Iron Man. This I believe because Thor and IM are friends in the comic, so it just mkes sense. Bi wish there was a Hawkeye as he's my favorite Ultimate. (At least before Ultimates 3 he was) Hehe. Slimer has food in him "CHOOSE AND PERISH!" That Gozer is pure awesome. I like Ray's goggles. That little trap is awesome. I'm so looking foreward to putting Slimer in it. "I looked at the trap Ray." Just looked at Stay-Puft again. Def gonna need some Whipped Cream or Shaving Cream. buttheadsmate
Well done Trekker you get the No-Prize for actually spelling STAY PUFT correctly......prize cancelled because of the hyphen.
Twisted Two-Face
Well done Trekker you get the No-Prize for actually spelling STAY PUFT correctly......prize cancelled because of the hyphen. Technically I spelled it right first, but i'm blaming it on your old age. And Trek, i too love that ghost trap. Now i want the Scolari Bros. with it too...And thanks for that quote; it made me lol. "Oh, now DON'T look at the trap!" "I looked at the trap, Ray!!" Hehe, even the backpacks have me psyched for this wave, just so i could make another quote; "Do..." "Ray..." "Egon...!!" Reideen1313
I want the diorama in this display. It would be nice if it were part of the box or something. Damn SHS. No way should they get him 1st. >

Pete
I can't keep up with all these new minimates anymore... there are so many great things coming our way, but the Terminator waves look the best of the bunch!
NorthRaider
I have a question is that a grey hulk and is it bigger than 2 inches ? becuase it looks bigger That's Ultimates Hulk. And I'll bet he's just the usual 2 inches tall with DST's usual height restriction-abiding accoutrements (powerhouse chest, torso extending piece, duck feet whatnot) Damn SHS. No way should they get him 1st. > Hilarious coincidence... SHS is coming out with a Classic Iron Man too
Graham
So having not read the Ultimates, exactly what is that little thing that comes with the Iron Man? Does it attach to him? And that WW2 Cap looks very familiar...
Dio
I would assume it's a pack of batteries. Most of the ultimates appear to have some sort of setback Edited February 15, 2009 by Dio

captain_cbecker
Ghostbusters looks great - did anyone notice Egon's got a detachable PKE Meter and I'm glad that they've thrown in a ghost trap too. In 2 box sets, they manage to capture a fair representation of the primary characters. Great job with Mr. Stay Puft, Slimer and the demon-dog - I'm always impressed when DST departs from the human/biped figure and goes a slightly different direction (like the daggit) The BTTF DeLoreans look hot - nice light up effects, but I'm wondering if those will be close to Minimate scale???? I like the Exclusive Spock give away from the show - but I hate chasing for those things since attending Toy Fair is out of the question for me. Wolverine Movie Mates look cool - the rest of the Marvel stuff isn't really my thing, though there are a couple of figures or sets that may be worth getting. Terminator all looks cool, including wave 2 - I think someone's gotten excited about the sulpts of the BD T-1000 I was hoping the preview photos would have some details about the direction of BSG - I'd really like to know what the new, re-tooled lineup will look like. Guess those may show up in a day or two Sorry to see no Trek Mates - but we saw that coming I'm reserving judgement on the Godfather until I see some product. On a non-minimate related note: The ST TWOK Communicator and Phaser look hot, as do the Classic Tricorders (Medical & Science) - they did such a spectacular job on the Classic phaser, that I'm sure these will be great. Gotta love everyone's favorite Borg Porn Star - I'll take one of each The Nurse Chapel sculpt for the 7" series looks like it's very well done (and a nice tribute to the late Mrs Roddenberry) So having not read the Ultimates, exactly what is that little thing that comes with the Iron Man? Does it attach to him? And that WW2 Cap looks very familiar... Just out of curiosity... Does the 'A' on his helmet stand for 'France'? I thought a white flag stood for France??? NorthRaider
Hmmm, I think I have an idea for a photo challenge for this year's Minimate Hunt: 12. Picture of your minimate poking fun at France
buttheadsmate
I want the diorama in this display. It would be nice if it were part of the box or something. groundhog7s
I realized that there are a couple Wolverine movie mates not shown. I wonder where the Silver Fox and others that were shown on DSTs site are.
Vigilante
Those will probably be put in a box set sometime. Think of the Iron Man "Hostile Takeover" set. There will probably be something like that revealed at SDCC or maybe earlier. Don't give up hope!
Nessex
DO Psylocke and Gambit have the same hand piece? I can't quite tell. Judging from the pics, they're different hand pieces for sure. Psylocke's hex bolt has that distinct purple-fire look to it, while Gambit's appears to definitely have some outline of a playing card engraved into it. (I'm hoping to\he final release versions of these would have the playing card detail painted on or something.) I'm also hoping both are molded in clear plastic to better emulate the characters power signatures.
MINI_MYTE
The new "oven mitts" look pretty bad on Ultimate Hulk. These just might end up as popular as "duck feet". Question for those familiar with the Ultimate Universe: What is all the green stuff dripping from Ultimate Tony Stark? It must be something relevant to the character. That or he just got to close to the Slimer minimate.

buttheadsmate
Well now we've got & new thread what I'd like to know is what is the 'gloop' on Tony. My Marvel Universe awareness is sadly very lacking when it comes to the Ultimate Universe. That's ultimate lubricant, so Tony's able to slip easier into his ultimate armor. But I have ultimately no idea why it's green. I guess groundhog's explanation might be the one and only ultimate reason. Still not sure ????
