Shanester
To me, the Samurai Predator is bad ass looking, but with space and cash being precious items lately, I can easily pass. So much stuff coming in so close to Christmas, it almost hurts...
youbastards
Yeah, I hear you. I just called Sideshow yesterday and cancelled '89 Batman and Joker, just not big enough of a Batman fan to justify the money. Luckily, the rep was kind enough to waive the FlexPay cancel fee for Batman, but I lost the NRD for Joker.
karamazov80
Rainman's Marty McFly sets are up for order on his website, if anyone is interested. $380 for the outfit/accessory set, and an extra $65 to get ZKULPTOR's unpainted head with it. luke314pi
New pics of Black Suit Spidey: I know the giant Sandman base isn't for everyone, but I love it, and depending on the price, it will probably push me to order this one. The Tobey sculpt looks to be pretty good as well.
Webhead
yeah I like the toby sculpt too. Black costume looks great. sign me up as long as that base doesn't drive the price up too much.
youbastards
Yeah, I'm definitely picking up Black Spidey, its cool they added a Sandman base as we were never going to get a figure. Bring on Venom, then move on to Doc Ock!
handsomedevil
Black Spidey looks great! I have to remind myself that I only collect VILLAINS! I recently won a Two-Face on EvilBay. I hope he is worth it. Only paid a few bucks over retail. Wish I had been in the game a little earlier!
karamazov80
Black Spidey is sort of a villain in a way.
youbastards
Black suit Spidey is up for preorder - $209 at Sideshow.
Webhead
was hoping it would be priced closer to the red and blue one but I'll still get it.
karamazov80
Price appears to be up there because of the extra head and huge base. If you sell those things off, you could probably end up paying roughly what the first figure cost or even less.
TM2 Dinobot
Do what I did with Sarah Connor's T-1000 head and sell the Sandman base to recoup your losses. KA beat me to it. Edited December 23, 2011 by TM2 Dinobot

luke314pi
Here are the sites I use (not all are for HT stuff specifically, but all are for 1/6 scale accessories): http://www.monkeydepot.com/1_6_WWII_Allied_s/4.htm http://www.timewalkertoys.com/contents/en-us/d109.html http://www.toysoldierbrigade.com/ http://www.toys2.net/home.php?cat=109 http://www.war-toys.com/ http://www.newlineminiatures.com/ http://www.blackopstoys.com/ http://www.justicefighters.com/servlet/StoreFront http://www.store-rooms.com/Index.aspx https://sites.google.com/site/antheadssite/catguide/badges
undeadpool
thanks a ton man another quick question, i remember seeing military figures on Hot Toy's site a while back, are those full figures with gear or just gear you put on a separate body? and where can i buy said figures? Turtle
My very dear wife got me the HT movie Superman for Christmas. It is byooooootiful. It's my first figure in this format, and I am completely blown away. The only issue I've noticed is that the figure comes with three pairs of hands but only two pairs of hand pegs, which seem unremovable once put into a hand socket. I haven't investigated the issue, but am I missing something? Is there a place to get a spare set of hand peg joints?
youbastards
Congrats! Welcome to the addiction! Hot Toys always includes an extra set of pegs in case you break any, but you are supposed to swap the hands on the pegs that are in the arms. It is a pain in the ass.
Turtle
Yeah, the pegs swap in and out of the arms but don't really seem designed to leave the hands. But still, I can see how easily the addiction forms.
karamazov80
Yeah, I sometimes use a pair of pliers to get the pegs out of the hands. It is possible to do damage to the pegs this way, so if you want to be extra careful, you might put a piece of cloth around the peg before clamping down. Then, pull straight out. One of my Spidey pegs broke when I tried to yank at an angle. By the way, welcome to Hot Toys Turtle. . .I hope you survive the experience. Mwahahaha! handsomedevil
I got my Hot Toys Two Face in the mail today. Pretty cool figure, but it seems like the clothes are all very loose fitting. I checked the back of the body to make sure somebody didn't pull a switcheroo & it has a TrueType stamp on the lower back. Anyone else have a Two Face that can give me some feedback on how the clothes fit on theirs? Thanks!
Webhead
got my new Predator from sideshow today. The skull trophy is a thing of beauty.
handsomedevil
If anyone has (or knows someone that has) a spare Hot Toys Bank Robber Joker head (the one with normal hair & smeared makeup) for a reasonable price, let me know. I think I'd like to put that on my DX Joker body & retire the repaired PERS head that I'm now afraid to use... (...and any feedback on the Two Face question two posts up would be GREATLY appreciated!) Thanks!
karamazov80
Clothes could fit better on Two Face I guess, but I don't have any problems with it. You can find other pics folks have posted to see how he looks in other collections. The stock figure came with a basic, broad shouldered TrueType. The *edit* narrow-shouldered version has become the body du jour for Hot Toys figures, but it was in its early days at the time Two Face was released, and he didn't come with one. It is possible someone switched it out, thinking that it would be an upgrade. Edited January 1, 2012 by karamazov80
handsomedevil
Thanks, K80. I'm not sure what kind of TT it is, but it's not the Hot Toys quality I'm used to. The knees hyperextend forward. Strange... I might just buy a standard TT body and use Two Face's to build the Police Officer Disguised Joker that came with the DX... Oh yeah. And I think I "need" a Hot Toys Scarecrow now too. If anyone bought the 2-pack for Demon Batman & has a Scarecrow to unload, PM me!
