I saw some of those at Ross, and I didn't think about them being Minimate-scale, either. . .more crap to buy :(

I really wanted to get several pics done, but this weekend was crazy.

So here is a very small sneak peek at it. and it is a chance to show off my lbc custom Baron Von Strucker.

More to come this week.

I got the cool, Batcave joker today, and realized that I'm on my way to getting a nice little Injustice Gang together. I'm waiting for a Riddler to get here in the mail, and I'll probably buy a Cheetah and Braniac, figures I don't particularly care for, just so I can add to my group. Man, do we ever need some more Flash villains in Minimate form :(

Great job on the Starro pics! Where's the Starro from?

He's a Heroclix "Colossal Character". It's strange the small Herocilx are really small and kind of crudely sculpted and painted IMO but the big figures are really nice in quality and scale.

I think I'm going to have to find me a starro, great pix hypno

*EDIT* or not, those things go for silly money on ebay

Aye he be a bit pricey. I got this one for $60 shipped on ebay, the cheapest I've seen him go is 50-ish shipped (I think he retails for $75).

He is pretty durable though, a mix of rubber (for the arms) and plastic (for the body), I was going to wait to see if a Starro was going to be made in the Mattel DCUC line but I thought that might be a bit of a long shot and this one fits in really well with Minimates.

Winkerbean posted some photos of Starro as well in the Display pieces for Minimates thread

Wow,cool Starro pics!

Does Starro have bendable arms?

They’re flexible in that you can pull the twists in the tentacles apart (to wrap around a figure’s leg say) but will then go back to their original shape. The arms can’t really be bent into new shapes but the way the tentacles were molded do offer quite a bit of display options.

how did you do that i tried it and it never works!

Sorry, I just saw this question haha. Uh, I used a little orange clay to stick the foot to the glider. I'd like to say it was just good balance, but alas, I am not that talented hahah.

I noticed that this sort of evolved on my desk... I have a lot of minimates hovering on the edge of my desk and sometimes they encroach into my 'workspace' and form unplanned skirmishes.

Aliens vs Minimates...

p.s. yes I have a VERY messy desk.
