Infinity Minimates?

Now that Infinity is here, isn't there room for brand new Minimates? Look at all the possibilities that can come from an Infinity box set. New characters like Black Swan, Star Brand , Nightmask , Hyperion , Blue Marvel the list goes on. Is there any interest in the Minimate Community??

But I'll probably buy them all if they look fun.

I'm not opposed to them getting made one day, but from the sounds of it this is one of the last teams I'd want them to start at this point.

I look at the event based boxsets (Civil War/Fear Itself) Those were major events and if this happens to be a major event which is looks to be I don't see why not. Infinity is taking place in space and on Earth.

Man, I'm really out of the loop. I didn't even know they were kicking off a new event. But I do like Hickman, mostly, so I'll check it out eventually. As for 'mates, I'd be all for most of the characters you mention, depending on their outfits. But we certainly won't see a box set made up of the characters you mention.

Why not ? Can you tell me the 4 minimates in the Worthy Box set?? 4 unknowns that are tied to an event..Just saying

Those 'mates were certainly more recognizable than any of these characters and that set still didn't seem to be a great seller. The chances of getting four obscure new characters in a boxset are very low.

You may be right but if they are on the Avengers team and its one of Marvels big salers i dont' see why not..

I could see a new Mighty Avengers set with Luke, Spidey, Photon and Powerman II

I could also see an Infinity set with Thanos, Godkiller Ironman, Agent Brand and Space Hulk

Hyperion and Blue Marvel really strike my fancy. I'd be all for some space mates!

If we get Hyperion, I'd rather get the whole Squadron Supreme than just one member. It could turn into an Inhumans situation.

Whilst I totally agree that I would love the whole squadron supreme I just don't see it ever happening sadly, so if it was hyperion or nothing I'd take hyperion happily. Likewise I agree the inhumans situation is pretty frustrating (especially the lack of medusa) but again if we never get the rest I would still be glad for black bolt and lockjaw.
