Nervous Rex
He'll yeah, Dave, I'll be ordering a bunch this weekend, new stuff looks awesome. I'd still like to see the three toed feet for skeletor and some others, and maybe zodac's armor and maybe a wizard had with some pointy ears when you get the time Thanks for doing these! THE_CRIPPLER
Damn. I ordered the Man-at-Arms helmet last night. Looks like I will be placing another to get the Trap Jaw weapons too. Any chance for Fisto's armor? We could use it to make a Clamp Champ then too. Also how about Trap Jaws belt with the skull on it? I tried to make one for my old Trap Jaw custom years ago and it sucked.

Freaqualizer
Dave, are you able to offer the Stryfe thigh pieces and belt in the silver plastic? I really want to make one, and my paint skills are atrocious. Edited January 21, 2015 by Freaqualizer
Dave
I believe they are in the metallic polished plastic, shapeways is doing maintenance tonight so I can't be sure
luke314pi
Somehow I missed a lot of the recent updates in this thread. This is some amazing stuff, and I love the 3D printed items. It is very inspiring, and I need to get my printer going again. I just ordered some Stryfe parts.
Dave
Being that it was below 0 here in minnesota today, I was working on decals including adam west as batman
THE_CRIPPLER
So did you go to school to learn how to do 3-D modeling or were you self taught? I would have so much fun making minimate parts if I knew how to do it. What program do you use when you design the parts that you have up on Shapeways? Maybe I will give it a try at some point and time. Also, any new MOTU stuff recently? I think the last think I saw was Trap jaws armor that you did. Dave
I went to school for drafting and design. I added zodak, three toed feet, and trap jaw shoulder
THE_CRIPPLER
Do you have the decal you used for Evil Lyn posted somewhere? I thought I saw it somewhere but all I could find was your Teela decal. Also any chance for Fisto armor and a big ass fist to make him? How about a big ass karate chopping hand so we can make a Jitsu also?
Dave
I will look for the evil lyn decal. the fisto armor you could use the AOA sabretooth body just repaint it and for the fist you could use boxing gloves from steve from the Street Fighter X Tekken Minimates. THE_CRIPPLER
I never thought of using the boxing gloves. I'm going to take a look at them and paint one silver to see how it looks.

Freaqualizer
Is it possible to make bulked up pieces, like a bulked up chest with shoulder spikes for a Doomsday? Or bulked up hands with spikes by the elbows, again like Doomsday? I'm bad at sculpting and Doomsday is huge on my wants list.
Dave
the problem with spikes is the limitations put on by shapeways. What you can do is find a bulked up stock piece and drill mounting holes in for lego spikes or toothpicks.
Freaqualizer
Damn Shapeways, limiting my...er, your creativity! Thanks, Dave. You're always very accommodating!

hellpop
Damn Dave, you are doing a tremendous job with the Masters of the Universe! I finished off Skeletor the other day, and he looks great; I've got to finish the eyes on Tri-Klops, but I'm very happy with him as well. Gotta get the Trap Jaw parts next. I was wondering if you might be able to do Aztek's helmet; he's a cult DC Comics hero, created by Grant Morrison, if you're not familiar with him. Here's what he looks like: He has a Justice League Unlimited figure that might be a great reference point. I'd appreciate it!
