Zach posted in the Predator thread that they are waiting for the Dump cases and 35th box set to drop before releasing the Aliens 2-packs. So I'd imagine we'll see solicits in the Previews following the 35th box set shipping.

I just won a Sideshow 1/6 Batman from one of their Twitter contests. I've been considering getting one for a while now but just haven't pulled the trigger. Now I don't have to because I got one free!

Actually for the AvP stuff I was thinking of the Dark Horse comics for inspiration. But the movie Predators would be cool to get. Oh man, I just thought of the awesomeness of getting both an Aliens AND Predator 2 Bill Paxton!

I don't think it will take anything away from Alien. If anything it will allow for more packs for both franchises. I don't think they'll be able to sell Alien vs. Predator packs but to have an Alien wave come out the same time as a Predator wave is a great way to do the crossover without doing the crossover, if you catch my meaning. I'm sure we'll get more news this weekend from NYCC if Zach doesn't come in and clear it up here beforehand.

I'm getting pretty psyched for this to arrive too. I have 2 full sets coming and ideas for customs and parts usage are spinning in my brain.

They mostly come at night... mostly.

There have been rumors about this for months. Apparently Disney and Fox have a "tenuous" relationship so Disney is doing what they can to screw with Fox's Marvel business. This is why you didn't see any Marvel X-Men figures or merchandise this year (beyond the Minimates) which will also affect the Fantastic Four merchandise. They have a much better relationship with Sony which is why they aren't messing with the Spider-man franchise... yet. It will pass with time. The Fantastic Four is too important to Marvel for them not to publish another Fantastic Four comic ever again. If the next movie flops (and from what little I've seen it probably will) then look for F4 comics to return in the following year once the stink of the movie failure has worn off. If it does well then I'd imagine they'll reboot the book to make some money on the hype. But they probably don't want it to succeed so why give Fox the free advertising. Spider-man is basically their corporate logo and the X-Men books make them too much money to cancel so that leaves Fantastic Four as the kid that gets punished. But it will all pass eventually and we'll get some cool toys down the line. There is too much money to be made for them to let this go on too long.

I'm sure the conversation will pick back up in the months between the reveal next week and when the wave finally comes out next year.

Yeah Nebula comes with the Sakaar trooper. Wish she came with the Nova Corps figure though. I think the Nova Corps/Gamora set is going to be the set that commands the most on the aftermarket. Nebula/Sakaar trooper will be close but I think Gamora as a main member of the team will be more sought after than Nebula. Plus this pack is the only way to get the Nova Corps figure so its going to be hard to find. Just look at Luke's store. He's sold out of the Gamora set but still has Nebula available.

I noticed in the item descriptions it says shipping can take 2-14 days. Indeed, even if you live nearby.But the 'mates are awesome! (except for the quiver that broke on my ranger) I should clarify, the description says "ships in 2-14 days" meaning it may take up to 14 days for them to get it out the door, not transit time. Day 15 and still waiting for it to ship. Well that's just not cool. Granted these guys are game makers, not a full blown retail establishment so I feel some leeway needs to be given. But it doesn't inspire confidence when you hear things like this.

Green blank with the Ghostbusters logo? Appropriate for NYCC I think. I haven't really chased any of the blank promos but I wouldn't mind having this one in my collection. Something about it speaks to me. Now the question is, is the green translucent, solid, glow in the dark?

Zach - is Beast's torso painted under the chest cap? Got ideas to get more of these and make an expanded team of All New X-Men.

I customize 4" scale G.I.Joes so I'm good on painting. I just haven't taken the plunge into painting Minimates yet. Since I play with them more than I do my Joes I like to keep them factory painted to prevent chipping etc. I'm also afraid once I take the plunge into full on customizing Minimates I won't be able to stop. I think I can control myself and limit it to just this one piece but...

I was looking at those but after checking images of the movie costume they don't quite match. Bobby's coat in DOFP doesn't have lapels. I might try to modify a Yondu coat but then I'd have to paint it and I'm not quite at the paint Minimates customs stage just yet. We'll see how it looks when I get this set in.

Can anyone recommend a good black trench coat to use for a Future Iceman custom? Planning to use the Future Prof X body for him.
