I picked up 3 of the sets yesterday at my local TRU. Not a fan of the razor mate Adama..Still loving having more BSG mates to add to my collection.

The price was right for me, $14.99 at my LCS. Great set, but I also have issues with Wasps wings. The lil pegs seem VERY fragile...

They could always use Wolverines' son Daken with Sabertooth/Deadpool....Lil naked Weapon X wolvie would be hysterical though.

I think that both of these properties would do very well in mini-mate form..plenty of opportunity for variants and box sets...I can just see the "floor Show" boxed set now... :biggrin: Or..

yeah, I also use the Flame w/Iron man, Firestar and Dark Pheonix it is a great little addition..we need more bases in cool colors..

Here's a few side by sides of the old C3 vs DCD mini's..and a quick Oracle shot.. Starfire looks great and the Flames make me think of a Frankie Raye"Nova" herald custom idea... ????

Yeah the shields are warped, but it happens with all the shields..hold them under hot water to soften it and then shape and chill under cold water..it helps big time..

I didn't see any package pics in here yet so I'm gonna add my 2 cents... :biggrin: These are also a great set..I love me some Zombie mates..But I'm over the marvel zombie variant cover craze..does EVERY book really need a Zombie cover?

Gotta luv all the weapons....We need Hydra Mini-mates...I wish there was more detail on his face though.. Great figure all around...Luv the scowl on his face..

As soon as I got my Defenders set I had to fix my Namor to look the part I used some Robin and Thor parts..and Ryu for the feet...Love them...

My LCS prices $7.99 - X3 Mini's $5.99 - Marvel $9.95 - DC $20 - 5-packs.. Doesn't carry the BSG or ST series. So this is why I usually buy all my mini's online from CSC..Although I did pick up my bearded Thor Variant for $5.99 so It evens out sometimes.

Thor is shiny...And Looks like a bearded hillbilly...

My variant Thor was only taped once, so It sounds like a shady LCS owner....I was lucky with my MM I paid $5.99 for bearded Thor variant. and got the rest of the set for $20.99 from CSC so A good deal.

Here's the comparison shot with the original mates that spawned them... :biggrin: I really love how the zombies look..overall a really great box set.

I had to swap out Wondermans hair piece(Brown hair?), So I used the Iron man/Tony stark/Bruce wayne in it's place..much better match.

Here's a side by side shot...Not a very big difference..but I snagged the variant 2-pack for 5.99 at my LCS so here ya go..

I wanted to point out one of my only complaints in an amazing set of Mini's...They skipped on the paint for his neck so It's looks odd... And a Gratuitous group shot...

They'd be better off just taking the best of the GR wave and making a box set..like the classic spidey set. Save some money and get some profit...I only want JB, Caretaker, And Ghost rider (skull) No crappy stunt show outfit or some fugly broad...and the bad guy...lol..yeah right...I'd rather have the big punk girl that said "his head was all like ..fwoosh..on fire" she was cooler...

My Hydroman was fine, But my sandman had the arm problem...I almost broke it off. I put him in hot water and it helped me free the arm...I think it sticks because the rubber is to tacky with the paint.

I'd love to see pics of Aquamans hook hand, Here's my version of his water hand.... I used the Omac hand for the best water look...and the cuff from Toxin/spidey carnage ...

I've been using my wire cutters to free figure ML,mimi's and the like for quite awhile...it's way faster. Have u open a transformer lately? they have 9 million twisties...snip-snip-snip and they're free. I also use my exacto blade to cut them out of the boxes. so I can save the backs.

True maybe he'll be worth ..........squat...lol I was thinking about using this hair for A Diana Prince mini, wadda ya think?
