Has there ever been a comicbook wave released along side a movie wave? Everytime a new marvel movie is brought up and we find out minimates are being made , a bunch of people immediately start talking about a comic book wave. I've only been collecting minimates seriously for a year, so forgive me if this is common knowledge.

I really wish HT would let us know if its diecast or nothing from now on when it comes to Iron Man. I'm wondering if I should just preorder Iron Patriot , I really don't care for the diecast I just want a 1/6 IP:(

I have a huge 25th to now gi joe collection, even after selling off my doubles( and triples). I love all the vehicles and ARAH updates but have no room to display them. Retaliation looks like a cool movie but the figures and price leave me feeling cold toward GIJoE.

Diecast is a cool gimmick but not necessary with the Hot Toys , especially if its just going to raise the $$ . I am with the rest of y'all, I will wait until HT does a regular version of Iron Patriot. For me Iron Patriot is a must have.

That's an awesome looking collection, man! Are you planning on getting all of the Avengers figures? I think I'm going to end up with everyone except Fury. Really wish I'd had the money for him when he was released. Yeah, I want all the Avengers. I just bought the Fury and Widow Tuesday and my LCS emailed me to let me now that Thor was in on weds but the wife gave me the look of death when I told her, so I may have to wait a little while to pick up Thor, LOL. I have Mark VII on Pre-order ,as well as the Hulk. I need to sell some of my other collections before I bring any more Hot Toys home or I think my wife will beat me over the head with Black Widow.

Cool, thanks for sharing. I've had special edition Warmachine for awhile, then bought rescue Cap. I thought I was done. Then my LCS started getting in Hot Toys and selling them at retail plus giving a 10% discount when I buy 2 at a time! Now I'm hooked and have bought 4 more in the last 2 months.

Abigail Whistler(sp) looks great! That is a figure I would love to own one day. How is the paint apps and clothing quality compared to the more recent ( Avengers) HT's?

Is the paint chipping on Caps shield just a problem with first avenger Cap? Or is it a problem with Avengers Cap also?scary!

Wolverine Movie mates are being solicited in Aprils Previews. No pics yet but hopefully this means we will see them soon.

Couldn't DST make a rotocast Minimate style Sentinel or Galactus with limited articulation , put a slit in the back and call it a bank? Wouldn't that get around size/ license issues?

Does anyone know of a good display box for a single Hot Toys figure? I've seen a few on eBay , but they seem small, the largest figure I have is Warmachine and most 1/6 displays are too small to fit him with his stand. Thanks.

I picked up HT Avengers Capt America and Hawkeye from my LCS for 180 each. I put Avengers Cap on the shelf with the HT Rescue Cap but Hawkeye is still sitting in his box, not sure if I'm going to keep him.

Checked my local TRU ( Modesto, CA) and no luck. I'll check again tomorrow, but I don't think they are getting their regular shipments in right now, and the fact that marvel minimates are on sale usually means with my luck the new mates don't show up until the sale is over.

Invincible!!!!! So excited!! I've been reading since issue 12 came out and just finished reading issue 100. I've been waiting sooo long for any form of Invincible toys.
