I had ordered two Yondu packs from TRU.com and they came alright except the packaging was mangled. My local TRU just got a case of GotG mates in this morning but by the time I got to the store I was only able to get three Yondu packs and one Star-Lord pack and that wiped out the store of their stock and I doubt they get any more. So now I have five Yondu packs. I am not sure I want all of them but I may share one or two if anyone out there wants to work out an arrangement with me in a PM, I am game for a deal. Just thought I would see if I could help anyone out there.

I am loving these goblins. I wish I could get my hands on a set of them at a fair price.

I just got my shipment from Toys R Us.com I ordered two Yondu & Sakaar Trooper packs. I got two Yondu packs but the packaging was really messed up. Anyway I am glad I got what I ordered, I just wish my local Toys R Us would get the mates like others are getting because I like to find them in the wild and not have to order and pay shipping over the internet and I do want at least two more Yondu packs. Good luck to all out there collecting these.

I enjoyed that show and the customs you have photographs of are AWESOME! I wish I had a set of my own. Can't wait to see the other customs that are in progress.

Was shopping in a TRU in Little Rock, AR and found only ASM2 minimates. However, I did find a surprise on the peg with the ASM2 mates. I found a pack that contained Electro and the Fire Helmet (battle-damaged) Spiderman but the packaging was actually that for the ASM2 Gwen Stacy/Graduation Peter Parker mates. The tape was fully intact and there were no signs of it being a repackaged set. I should have purchased it but I have enough of all the TRU ASM2 mates and I merely snapped a photo on my iphone but have not downloaded it to my computer as of yet.

Caesar is a great work of art. If only we could get official Planet of the Apes Minimates. I have not seen the Dawn of the Planet of the Apes yet, but I really liked the Rise of the Planet of the Apes. I am a fan of the original five movies and the Mark Wahlberg movie was interesting, but I would like to see Official Apes Minimates. Thank you for sharing your Caesar with all of us. Great Job!!!!

I think you are rocking it with the Predator parts. The Helmet is cool and the claw is nice. Would you also be making the shoulder gear and leg armor? It would be cool if you could also make the prop the alien is holding in the picture below. You are making me want to see the movie over again.

Just sharing, as the local TRU here in Bloomington/Normal, IL only had one 2 pack still on a peg (Tomb Raider Lara with Scavenger) at full price. They also only had one other place for any minimates and that was in the Marvel aisle where the ASM2 item are because they once had at least one case of the ASM2 minimates at one time. I am so hoping that this TRU gets more minimates in the future. I like getting them at my local TRU when I can because I get them and start customizing because I can typically get multiple of a pack so I can experiment with my custom ideas. Does anyone know if TRU's will start carrying Minimates in their stores again? I love shopping at LTS and always continue to give him my business but there is something about finding them in the wild that I enjoy.

I wish I could get my hands on one of the MMMV minimates. I never seem to be able to get to a contest in time to get a chance to win. I will just keep dreaming of getting one someday.

I finally got a full set of Lego Minifigures and it is the Simpsons Set. In the process I got two extra Bart's, two extra Lisa's, one extra Mr. Burns, and two extra Quik-E Mart clerks. I will likely never get the Simpsons House because my wife will not allow me to do so. I primarily collect the minifigure sets because I like the challenge. Since Lego has been doing the 16 figure sets of minifigures, I have about 56% of them. I have also very few duplicates. I only have one from series 1 and that is the Caveman. I am only missing three from the Lego Movie series (two robots and the mermaid), and I really try to get any of them that follow a theme, like soldiers or robots or myths. I wish I could have more money to spend on them but they are expensive. My best find was Medusa as I was told by a lego store employee she was the most limited next to Mr. Gold. I wish I had a Mr. Gold. I would say the ones I am really glad I have are the Halloween themed figures. Wolfman, Frankenstein's Monster, The Creature (from a Monster Fighters set), Mummy, Dracula, Skeleton (from some set I had), Witch, Ghost (from some castle set my cousins had as kids and gave me when I asked for one and he still glows in the dark), Scarecrow, Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde, and fortune teller.) Then I have the ones which are Lego People in costumes with them: The lizard, The Gorilla, The Bunny, the Chicken and the Panda.

Wish I would have caught the posting of this contest on Friday. I just noticed it. I was viewing site from my iPhone over weekend while traveling so did not see the contests section. I was surprised I knew all the parts except for three (which really was two per the left foot was one until I read the bonus hint.) Congratulations to all who got it right.

Zach, The Tomb Raider Sets were not on markdown, they were full price. They had one set of the Scavengers and the rest were the Lara sets about four of each. I will see about calling CS about Goblin's foot, I think I have an extra foot or two from broken legs here and there. (Broken after I had them for a little while and was trying to customize.) Yeah, I was extremely shocked to find not only one Janeway pack but three and all at the clearance price.

I just got to shop at a TRU in Peoria, IL. (while it is about an hour's drive from where I live in Normal, IL, I just do not have enough of an excuse to drive there for minimates unless I have other business in Peoria which is very rare.) Anyway, I got to go to Peoria, IL for work today and so we swung by the TRU there. I found three Janeway/7of9 sets (all the remaining Star Trek mates in the store) for the Clearance Price of $1.59 each, then I found a Universal Monsters set of the Hunchback/Phoebus for $1.59 and then I found a TRU15 Nova Flame Torch/Annihilus for $1.99. Then I found two complete sets of the Amazing Spider-man 2 TRU. I also found some Tomb Raider TRU sets but I did not need and more of them. I also saw three sets of Wave 5 of the Walking Dead but they were all the Hitchhiker/Michonne mates and I didn't need any more of that set. I am really looking for Ford/Military Zombie sets as I would like three or four more of that one. Just thought I would share what I minimates I found and where. Extra: Just opened one set of my ASM2 and my Green Goblin is missing his right foot. I can see the other package that I am keeping sealed has both feet on him but I never thought to check for that in the store, but I bought all they had at the time.

Just found two full sets of Amazing Spider-man 2 in Peoria, IL. Had to got to Peoria for work today and decided to that a moment to go to the TRU there as I don't get to that one but once in a blue moon. I found two complete sets of six for the ASM2 I like the LCS Electro better but still need to order him. So now I will have to get two full sets of the LCS mates. I wish I didn't have too because I don't need all those extra Spider-Man mates but I need those that are packaged with them. Thank you DST for taking my money. Extra: One of my Green Goblin from ASM2 is missing his right foot. Bummer.

If you are wanting a blue prison jumpsuit, the Silence of the Lambs set has Hannibal in a blue prison jumpsuit, which is the same set that has the straightjacket in it. I got one SotL set but have parted out all of the set except I kept my orange suited Hannibal in his straightjacket on the two-wheeled cart for a display of Minimates I have at work. Good Luck.

I love Minimates because they are a great way for me to customize my love for Star Trek and other Sci-Fi licenses for use as décor in my office without taking up too much space and they have a great deal of detail for something so little.

I was able to find some Minimates at a nearby TRU in Champaign/Urbana, IL. It about an hour and a half drive from my house but my wife was running the Illinois Marathon there so I took advantage of the location while she showered after the run. I found the whole line of The Walking Dead Series 5. I got a complete set and then a few extras of Grimes and Porter. Would love to have a about three more Ford's for the Military Zombie but they only had the one package. Surprisingly to me, they scanned on the price check at 50% off, and then I got to the register and scanned my rewards card and as associate scanned them she took another 50% off thus making them 75% off the regular price. It was like buy four packs for the price of one regular pack. I got three Grimes, Three Porters, two Michonne and one Ford plus one pack of Tomb Raider Scavengers and one pack of Tomb Raider Storm Guards. It was like $1.73 a pack. But when I called a friend to go back in on Sunday, he told me they were scanning at $7.49 each. I guess I was just very lucky so I can't complain. I will likely never find a bargain like that again. I am still looking for more of the Ford/Military Zombie packs as I would like a few more Military Zombies and I would like to use parts from Ford for some customs I am working on.

I got a full set in Champaign/Urbana, IL this weekend. They had to whole pegs of them but only one set with the Military Zombie which I got. My wife ran the Illinois Marathon (only the 1/2 since she also did the 5K on Friday night). I was killing time while she showered to get ready for our late lunch with her family so went to TRU. My local TRU is only about an 1.5 hour drive away but has never seen any of the Wave 5 as of yet. I only wish they had more mates from other lines for me to pick up as well. Happy hunting.

I wish I could go to C2E2 but my wife is running a half marathon in Champaign/Urbana and I can't get there again. Last year my friend got married and I was in the wedding party and had to miss it. But I am already planning on getting there next year. Wish I could get the surprise somehow. I also would offer to help man the booth if I was able to get to the event. Still working on my "M.I.S.F.I.T.S." This is short for Multiple Individuals Somehow Fractured in Time & Space. I am working on backstories and a name for their rivals. I am having the setting be something like the Phantom Zone or Limbo. I am trying to figure out how I want his realm to function as I don't want any of my characters to have guns or electronic device. Most of my characters will have all been pulled from the same date in history but have no real connections other than I will have two characters be related in some fashion or another. Any ideas you can share about what I could name the rival group will be taken into consideration. Have a nice day! PS: As of 29 March 2021, my M.I.S.F.I.T.S. have been for the most part cannibalized for other custom works for my collection. I do still have a few and when the I feel like I have made all the other customs I want for Star Trek or DC, I will consider revisiting this idea. Thank you.

I am upset with my local TRU in B/N, IL. They have not received any new minimates for over a month. The have 2 Tomb Raider packs (Lara & Scavenger with gas mask) They have one Gwen & Connors, about six Daredevil & Kingpin, about 4 Wolverien & Reaper and then they have 3 Wolverine movie packs and about a case worth of Street Fighter X Tekken (mostly the packs with King and then another one). I have two coupons that have expired without use because they don't have the stock and Minimates really are all I ever purchase at TRU. However, I did visit the local Barnes & Noble which is in the same area as TRU. I took a chance and it paid off. I read that they were starting to carry minimates and I found five packs of minimates there. I got one Iron Man & Thing, one Spider-man & Goblin, one Wolverine & Sabretooth and two Cap & Thor. They were basically $10 each but I never got any of this wave so I snagged them. I just hope that my local TRU get new mates soon. I really would like to get some Walking Dead mates and even more of the marvel mates soon.

No new Walking Dead minimates in Bloomington/Normal, IL area. The local TRU only has a hand full of clearance mates and two Tomb Raider pack on its pegs. I really would like to get some of this wave as I am really liking the assortment more so than previous waves.

Nothing new at my local TRU. Just a few Wolvie/Reaper, some Kingpin/Daredevil, some SFxT and a few Wolverine Movie. Oh and two Tomb Raider packs. I was hoping for some TWD wave 5 and some more Tomb Raider but nothing.
