  1. Hasbro has just announced some of their film tie-in assortment. Wasp looks like she will be getting gold detailing on the figure.... however I did notice this in the text: 'Figure and accessories inspired by the upcoming ANT-MAN AND THE WASP movie' So, who knows what she'll look like in the actual movie. I do hope we see a Gold & Black Wasp from DST tho, with a new wing mold!
  2. How long did it take you to get through all the Challenges? I'm having a devil of a time finding all the fish/bird rings. I feel like i'm going to be slogging my way through some of those tasks for months.
  3. now to wait for all the DLC to be released....
  4. Well, with the exception of how utterly annoying Gwenpool is, it's a fun game. I've been enjoying the mini-challenges. (srsly tho - Gwenpool needs to be erased from existence)
  5. WHAT?!?!? That reclining variant tho! Brilliant.
  6. It could be argued that it is, in fact, Warpath, who was first introduced as an *almost* villain. Really, he just wanted revenge for his brother's death. There were some other villains in Slave Island who could have been used, like Blob. Or sometimes hero, sometimes MLF member, Feral. Or even Caliban (although he was depicted in this episode as Morlock Caliban, rather than Horseman Caliban). I suspect your theory about the art models already existing as he had been planned for inclusion in the first two episodes explains why he was chosen instead of Blob. Can't quite figure out why Gargoyle made the cut, tho.
  7. There are licencing issues? Cyclops has been in heaps of Marvel games over the years. He was in Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2, & Marvel Puzzle Quest. He was even in the last Lego Marvel Superheroes Game. This smacks of Marvel being petty about film rights, and choosing to exclude anyone that they don't own the film rights to. Or am I being a bit paranoid?
  8. So - I'm about 40% through at the moment. I've finished the story and i'm currently running around collecting gold bricks and characters. It's pretty fun. This is pretty weak, tho - 'The pack, priced at $1.99, adds playable characters Ms. Marvel, Nova, Miles Morales, Ironheart, Devil Dinosaur, Moon Girl, Viv Vision & Sparky, Amadeus Cho, Nadia Pym Wasp, Kate Bishop Hawkeye, and Nova. Strike out on your own with our “Totally Awesome” young heroes!' No young Cyclops This is starting to seem particularly petty.
  9. I have a soft spot for the X-Men Animated Morph. I used to have to leave for school before it started, so I'd set the VCR to record each episode and then watch it when I got home in the afternoon. As I understand it, Morph was brought in to the animated series because the shows creators wanted to start the series off by showing how serious the plight of mutants was, and so they *kinda* invented one, just so they could kill him. He was the X-Men equivalent of a red shirt. Having said that, I always thought he was funny and would have been worth keeping around. Although - it didn't take much to make me laugh as a 12 year old. *EDIT* Oooooh - just found out some extra Morph trivia... Morph was almost Thunderbird! 'Originally, it was going to be Thunderbird who died in "Night of the Sentinels, Part Two" since the character died in his second mission for the X-Men. However, it was pointed out that the writers were going to kill off their only Native American character early in the series.'
  10. I would assume that the end of any animated series would likely signify the start of another in the near future. There has been some kind of animated Marvel property on offer pretty consistently over the last 20 years. I'm sure we won't go too long without something for Walgreens minimates to be based on.
  11. The DLC? I have paid for Season Pass, but I can't seem to find the DLC levels in the game. I also don't seem to have the Classic Guardians characters either :/
  12. So - I'm about 20% of the way through the game, and have seen no sign of anyone wearing an 'X'. Even Deadpool, who was previously the keeper of Red Bricks and cheat codes has been replaced. Anyone else playing this at the moment?

I haven't been keeping up to date with comics, so I was completely unaware of who Red King was when DST announced him as a figure. But since DST introduced me to him, I've notice him pop up in a couple of places, including the new Lego Marvel Superheroes game!
  14. I think Tactical Killmonger might be the stand-out of the series. Such a great looking figure.
  15. I had to go with Ulik. I wanted someone who we didn't already have a figure of and I love his classic Kirby look. The Warriors three would be AWESOME as minimates in their ridiculously bright classic costumes, but I couldn't vote for one on their own. I might be in the minority here, but I kinda liked the retconned blue, tattooed Frost Giants (with their tusk earrings and such) more than their classic counterparts. So I went with Rigellians. they look comic-booky, and I want that head piece for a Destiny custom.
  16. Happy Holidays, all. I hope everyone gets a well deserved break for a couple of days.
  17. I would very happily take everything offered here! While i'd rather a translucent Binary mate, I voted for Ch'od because i think they could recycly most of his body to make a bulked up Abomination.
  18. I'd be down for the Marvel Machine Age wave! Jocasta & Machine Man Bastian & Mastermold Super Adaptoid & Danger Dragon Man & Bibeast Sure - there's not really a heavy hitter in there to anchor the wave.... but a boy can dream.
  19. SQUEE! I'm gonna need to keep an *eye* out, because I suspect that I'll want that mutant leader.... and Moondragon, too!
  20. That would have been awesome! I suspect that those packs mightn't have had any room left in the tool with all the extra parts in that wave though.
  21. I think he means this CB: And I don't think he ever came into contact with the Warwolves until he was wearing his Union Jack inspired costume. I'd still take that as a two-pack tho.

I told myself about a year ago that my wallet needed a bit of a break and that I was only going to be buying X-Men minimates going forward.... but damn, these recent 616 Spider-man waves look bloody nice.
