  1. My big want for these waves are the Black Order characters, as I'm not sure we'll see 616 Versions of them anytime soon. I think that despite the difference in headpiece design, the MCU minimate actually has a fairly comic-booky looking face and costume, and would sit reasonably well with the more detailed 616 minimates.
  2. I have a few bits and pieces, but I'm in Australia - so the shipping would probably be a bit brutal. But I'm happy to investigate if you are curious. I have a couple of loose ones, and a few still in the clam shells. DM me if you want more deets.
  3. What you're talking about is a Revolution. To achieve it, you need the majority to be *so* uncomfortable that they are forced to act. The 'suits' have figured out how to keep every one just comfortable enough, while fleecing them into poverty, to keep them complacent. But if you put the call out, I'll bring my pitch fork. Like, actually. (not being sarcastic). eat the rich
  4. Maybe that is all you can do. Not everyone does that though (I'm often guilty of not pre-ordering). So, if it helps the brand, I'm going to do my best to pre-order with Luke for the sets I really want.
  5. If you're willing to sponsor my Visa, I could work in Baltimore
  6. WHAT?!?!?! That is a SERIOUSLY ambitious claim. But, if they can make it happen, I'm all for it. I loved tracking down KayBee variants of the old ToyBiz figs as a kid. If they can fill the gap left by TRU and make a profit, I'm all here for it. Zach - this might be a bit premature, and I acknowledge that it's an utterly selfish question, but what's the best way for fans to make sure the TRU closures have the least amount of impact on your lines? Do we need to make some noise in support of Minimates? Share more photos on social media? Pre-order sets that we're excited for?
  7. Of course! Apologies - by 'we', I meant 'we the community, including DST. DST could knock this one out without much in the way of new tooling required.
  8. Bah ha ha ha! That is the best caption ever! Also, a very good review!
  9. I feel like we have all the parts we'd need to make this one happen..... I hope we do end up seeing him made!
  10. Wow - I didn't think this would actually happen. I'm a bit flabbergasted. I'm shocked that there really isn't a way for a toy-specific emporium to keep going. Despite how hard they were for an Australian to track down, TRU gave me some of my most treasured and obscure minimates. Union Jack. Klaw. Box?!?! Boomer, for heavens sake. BOOMER! Sad to see them go. I hope DST can find another avenue for the waves that would have gone to TRU.
  11. Ooops - For some reason, I thought I was replying to a Marvel Legends BAF thread. LOL. If I had taken the time to read the whole thread (at a whopping 1 page), I would have realised that I had already rattled off my ideal X-Factor BAF wave for minimates.
  12. 90's X-Factor Wave Havok Polaris Wolfsbane Quicksilver Exodus with Strong Guy BAF.
  13. I actually just found an explanation for the lack of armour in this film:
  14. This is no reflection on the figures, as I think they all look like they've been faithfully interpreted based on the source material... but is anyone a bit disappointed that we're getting a sleeveless, helmetless 'Spring Break' Thanos in Infinity War, rather than the fully armoured version that was originally teased?
  15. Why, oh why, must we keep seeing tank top Logan as an option. Outside of movie themed merch, I could happily NEVER see this boring, thoughtless, lazy rendition of him ever again. He's been done so many times. Now that the rant is out of my system - 20yo me would have gone bananas for some of these waves. If you had told me that we'd be seeing a Sauron BAF in my ML collecting days, I would have flipped. And Multiple Man?!?!?! Every now and then, this line almost tempts me back...
  16. They were reused with the Sentinel that came with Rachel Grey/Summers, but I don't know how often they've been used since. I loved having it as an additional display option with my Sentinel Army.

    WAVE 76

It's essentially the same costume as the TRU Quicksilver: He did briefly have a more X-Factor-esque costume, but it didn't last long: Truth be told, I just think that Quicksilver is probably now the most recognisable character in X-Factor to the average punter, and so DST would likely want to use him in a wave. I'd be totally fine with him being replaced with someone much more obscure villain. Maybe Cyber or one of the Nasty boys? But i can't see DST seeing Hairbag as a good investment. LOL. I still don't think DST have totally nailed Quicksilver's hair yet either.... It needs to be closer on the sides for 90's X-factor. Perhaps painted directly onto the head of the figure, with just the top part sculpted?
  18. I'm starting to think Generation X are my 'longshot' figures. I'd be all over a line-up that featured the mainstays: Jubilee, M, Husk, Penance, Sync, Skin, Chamber, & Mondo. White Queen & Banshee too. That'd already 10 figures, and doesn't even include any villains or late-comers. I could do without Artie, Leech and Gaia, but Generation X would probably need a couple of villains to battle. Harvest, Orphan Maker and Emplate would both be awesome. I don't know how they'd make this happen? There's way too many figures for a wave.

    WAVE 76

Chamber probably needs to be a stand alone character. While he was sometime drawn wearing the uniform, he was more often in black pants, a jacket (of varying lengths) and his bio-blast thingy. M & Husk could likely overlap with head-swaps... i'd really love to see a couple of 'husked' limbs for Paige though. Maybe a diamond arm and a metal arm with fragments of the uniform tattered across the shoulders? I'd be totally here for an X-Factor wave too. ESPECIALLY if we managed to get Haven!!! That would be the most wonderfully obscure X-villain.
  20. He's had a couple of looks over the years. Toybiz did him in the 90's in his white pirate look. He even became all tree at one point... He was kind of Groot-looking in Gen X Can't wait to see what look Luke goes with.
  21. Big fan of this idea if it's letting C-listers and supporting cast get made. Moira has beena long time want of mine. I'd love an X-Factor wave with: Polaris with alt parts for Val Cooper & Multiple Man Strong Guy & Wolsbane Havok & Forge Exodus & Quicksilver BAF - Random
  22. I wouldn't mind some ice shoulder spikes and ice-hair for Iceman... to give him that 90's vibe. I wouldn't say 'no' to a hand holding a pair of glasses for Beast/any glasses wearing character. And I loved the 'trail' effect we've received on some of the characters weapons, like Thor's hammer. Id be totally more in love with *another* Wolverine release, is it came with a claw slash effect. Or a 'speedster effect' for Quicksilver, similar like the one DC did for Flash:
  23. wait.... I may have misunderstood the assignment :/
  24. Happy Birthday, lads. Hope you have a smashing day!
  25. Can I suggest Silver Sable too? Her print is looking a little flat compared to modern incarnations of characters.
